BT Infinity - Home Hub 4 Connection
We had Infinity connected with a new home hub connected yesterday. All is fine and speeds seem ok.
When checking settings I went into a screen which showed everything connected to the hub. I can't remember how to get back to this screen now! Doh! Anyway when I was in there I noticed it said 2 iPhones and a laptop were listed under 5ghz but the other laptop was listed separately under 2.5ghz. I was wondering why that was and is it likely to affect connection? |

192.168.1.254, Advanced Settings, Home Network, Devices.
The BT HH 4 is dual band. By having the devices on different frequencies, they won't have to share WiFi bandwidth with each other - which is a "good thing". |

5GHZ is faster but range limited, and believe me i doesnt go far
2.5 is slower, but better range eg. In my 3 bed Semi 5ghz wont penetrate upstairs, so my ipad switches to 2,5ghz |
