I only ever vote in protest where my favourite looks like they are going out because of dodgy comments/ marking from the judges (Austingate)

I am quite happy to watch the recorded show because i don't have to put up with Brucies offerings. Live atmosphere comes over quite well on the recording... and its just the same as watching a live show on TV - might be different if we could actually GET tickets to the live show....

Your best bet to get a ticket, is to get a job with the BBC.
The audience always includes a hugely disproportionate number of their employees.
Someone posted the actual numbers which proved that they made up a third of the audience in the preview show.
I don't expect it to have changed much since.

That has always baffled me, live is live, that's the whole point, the live atmosphere direct from the studio as it happens.

The show itself maybe live - but for those of us watching at home - it's little different to watching a recorded show as we don't get the "live vibe" or the buzz.

The big advantage of recording the show and watching later, or even starting 5 minutes later is that those of us who cannot stand Brucie's "Me! Me! Me!" Antics don't actually have to watch or listen to them.

Last weeks show was Fab-u-lous when he wasn't there to slow things up! No pawing of Tess, no stupid jokes, no interruptions when judges commenting, we got to hear ALL the judges commenting on ALL of the dancers - no mean feat when there were 15 couples to get through - we wouldn't have had that with FForsyth at the helm..... He just doesn't know when to shut up, and refuses to have an earpiece so the producers can't tell him to belt up and move along!

Roll on a whole series without him (and it's not just DS who think so either - the SCD Facebook page is pretty much saying the same thing..... Shame he's back!

I bet he hasn't got a sign of a cold tonight!

I must say last week's was the first SCD I've watched for a long time without having my finger on the mute button. I thought the girls were great and the whole thing was so much more professional and slick.

They were very good and it moved at a good pace. I was pleased that despite 15 couples we actually got to hear every judge comment on all of them, without rushing through. That often doesnt happen with Bruce as they is so much faffing around inbetween dances... I just care about the couples dancing and the judges comments, too much of the show is devoted to soothing Bruce's ego and letting him have too much airtime.

Flu'? Yeah, right. Not even a sign of having been unwell. It was obviously just a cold and not a particularly bad one at that.

Had my finger on the mute button for ages between the celeb dance and the first VT. I could see that FF was just going on, and on, and on. Please make him go away!!! Please. Permanently.

No way will we hear what all the judges say for all the dances - there won't be time unless they shut him up.

I think last weeks show was proof enough that it, s time he quit. Tonight it is more unbearable still listening to the old duffer ughhh!

We are only half way through and I have already broken my personal record for shouting "OH SHUT UP BRUCE!" at the TV. Dreadful. Needs. To. Go.

Good to see Brucie back on form and bringing the carnival atmosphere to Strictly.
