Can anyone remember back after bootcamp was there a judges houses the year which gave us Steve Brookstein as the winner. I remember there was in series 2 when Shayne Ward won and there has been from then on.

Simons was in London and Sharon's in England. And Louis I think also in England possibly Ireland. The judges houses eps are on YouTube actually

All of the judges were around the British Isles - I don't think they went abroad...it was that year when we had G4, Steve, Rowetta, and the brother/sister group where one of them was blind

From what I remember there were 5 acts who made it through to judges houses and 3 from each made the live shows. Some of the contestants event did their jh audition whilst the others sat and listened

I think thats when the judges actually used their houses as well. A small point but I seem to remember it being called "judges homes" back then.
