i came across this rather elegant sounding recipe:

Victorian Lavender Lemonade

5 cups water
1 1/2 cups sugar
12 stems of fresh lavender
2 1/4 cups lemon juice
1. Boil 2 1/2 cups of water with the sugar.
2. Add the lavender stems and remove from heat.
3. Place on the lid and let cool.
4. When cool, add 2 1/2 cups of water and the lemon juice.
5. Strain out the lavender.
6. Serve the lavender lemonade with crushed ice and garnish with lavender blossoms.

sounds really lovely but quite sugary though i`m going to try it.

anyone got any similar recipes to share?

That sounds lovely - I've got herb lavender I put into sugar - I'll keep thinking on a recipe using lost worldly stuff but I'm in a rush to put washing out & attend a dental check up ATM.

Love the website btw.
