Janette - I'm not ready to write her off just yet. It's hard to know if it's her partner or her teaching or the combination, but they don't seem to be ironing out his problem areas (which is all of them, but poor posture has to be top of the list of crimes to my inexpert eyes). It does seem odd to hire someone who doesn't have a thorough training in ballroom and latin. She maybe a versatile dancer herself, but it's a tall order to expect her to teach the correct technique and have the skills to choreograph too. I wonder if they really wanted Aljaz and she was part of the package
Aljaz is a bit of a hit, I think. He's a lovely dancer, seems to be a good teacher and I loved the waltz he choreographed, though I was less sure about the cha cha. Good on the ITT sofa, lovely deep voice, sense of humour, pleasing to the eye.....
Kevin - so far so good for me. He seems likeable and to be a decent teacher. I'm undecided about the partnership and he's a bit excitable when he dances, but I think he adds to the 'variety' among the pros.
Iveta - Likeable and fun and seems to build good rapport with her partner quite quickly.
Anya - I expected to love Anya, but I'm struggling to have an opinion one way or another. Maybe it's the partnership which has, so far, failed to ignite.
