Hi My son would like a t.v for Christam the MAIN reason is so he can play his Xbox games in HD which also enables some games to beome two player, would this tv http://www.tesco.com/direct/blaupunk...skuId=162-4640 do the job?

Hello again. If the Xbox has an HDMI slot you should be OK to connect the Xbox to any TV with an HDMI cable that you can purchase for £1 from a pound shop. Here's the Xbox to TV connection page: http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-3...360-console-tv

He'd be gutted if he still could not play Minecraft two player

just notice that link is to the same make tv on the other thread, that you would not recommend to your worse enmy

Cheap TV's are cheap for good reason, unless you're prepared to pay more for a decent make then that's the sort of quality you're looking at.

It 'may' be perfectly OK for what you want though?.

You might like to consider this Full HD (1920 x 1080 or 1080p) Samsung SyncMaster T22A300 22 inch Widescreen LED Monitor with a Freeview Tuner instead of the (shudders delicately) Blaupunkt. It has 2 x HDMI so you could use one for the Xbox 360 and another for a separate Blu-ray or DVD player (that you could buy as next Birthday present for £30 odd). £161 inc del from this Amazon seller: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-T22A...bs_computers_4

Or have a look at similar Monitors with a TV tuner from a mainstream TV manufacturer with good reviews, but make sure you check there are 2 x HDMI as some of them only have one.

Alternatively this highly rated Samsung UE22F5000 Full HD 22inch LED TV with 2 x HDMI, USB, and a Freeview HD tuner from Amazon for £171 inc del. Much better picture quality than the SyncMaster and vastly superior to the Blaupunkt.
