Caprice wants Davina's Job!

Caprice is gunning for the job of Big Brother presenter Davina McCall. She told my spies: "After appearing on the show I realised that, unlike Davina, I have insider knowledge. I hear she wants to quit soon, so - who knows? - maybe they'll pick me."

Thats not gonna happen - Davina McCall has a personality (whether you like it or not) whereas Caprice is a vacuous bint.

I've not been keen on Davina since BB4 onwards, but unfortunately the programme wouldn't be the same without her. Having an American presenter would just not be right

Not going to happen. BB and Davina, Dermot, linked.. without either of them BB would not be the same.

ha ha Davina is a flipping air headed div - and i say that with respect.. highly cherished by Endemol for some reason but she is utter crap at interviews and she's had plenty of chances to improve.. maybe Caprice has a better interviewing technique?

I cant see Davina ever leaving, epecially since its such a good earner and easy money. In the grand scheme of things, her role is umimportant. She is good at the shouty shouty and linking stuff (although I dont like it) but her interviews are rubbish and she often has wrong assumptions about the HMs which is annoying for them and us. So we just need to take from the interview what we can and have a low expectation of it.

I suppose from her view, the interview is supposed to be entertaining. Personally I would like to find out what they were thinking on important points.

She is the worst thing about BB. What I find interesting about BB is how youngsters are probably the ones most stubborn against change. If I was in charge, Davina, the Geordie, The editor, the theme planners, the theme tune, would all get dumped.

The BB panto was a refreshing change. I would also think about having a new presenter for each BB, although Dermot would probably make a good permanent presenter for a few years.

By the very nature of the show, 'Big Brother' is very limiting for a television presenter (eg. the 'Little Brother' format) and there are only so many questions that you can ask an ex-housemate before sounding as if you have been there many times before. After all, no matter how much they try different angles etc.., it is very much a repeat format programme - just slight variations on the same theme - so I can't imagine a new presenter being able to make us think we are watching something new and different!

Ehh yeh Caprice, you have as much chance of getting Davina's job as Kitten had of lasting ten weeks i the house
