Seems very difficult to get a cheap broadband deal without line rental being included.

Granny (76) has broadband which I pay for. She is also with BT.

It will be too difficult to explain about changing phone providers to her. So I'm looking for a cheap
broadband deal that does not involve line rental or calls.

Currently paying £7.99 a month.

On investigation (in retrospect seems obvious) all the cheap deals mean taking line rental as well.

I know I should really move her phone and broadband to a better deal......

Not really a question but an observation.

I think only companies like plus net and Tesco do that now it is annoying though as people should have the right to choose their phone provider even if it means that their price is slightly higher for broadband.
