A year? It looks like he's starting next week!

Kenzie has 2 solo live performances planned for next week at Leicester (13 Feb) and Newport (14 Feb).

Nice to see he's staying loyal to his boys!

The 'solo' stuff is PAs (personal appearances) - which may also be signings as well as performances - you may well see one or more of the other members of the band at these venues. Its simply promoters cashing in on a name rather than Kenzie launching a 'solo' career.

All of Blazin are at Sandown Races tomorrow.

Indeed! - He said just that on last weeks Top of the pops: That he was busy making appearence promoting "The Squad" He has no solo record (yet) to promote.

What ever happens it the future, he will just have to make that choice when it comes to it.

As a person who he himself appeared on CBB, he doesn't "Have To" stay with his group - but at the moment he is and good luck to them.

Finbar Saunders is a character from Viz ( an adult comic) renowned for double entendres.

Ah! Women goes into a bar and asks the barman for a double entendre - so he gave her one!

But Kenz can put out my fire any way he wishes!
And I don't care if it's a solo performance or the whole squad!

So did I, Trashcan, when I first read the report:

If he succeeds in battling through the fake blaze, the Celebrity Big Brother star will win the fireman a hoard of fantastic prizes.
There was me thinking he might win some new axes, maybe some new hoses, possibly even maybe a new engine for our hard working fire service.

But a further report today clarifies:

Andy [the fireman that Kenzie stayed with] added: “My son wants a quad bike and my daughter wants a shopping trip with Cat Deeley.

"Julie [Andy’s wife] would like a car and I wouldn’t mind a golfing holiday. We have told Kenzie there is no pressure on him though!”
Words fail me!
***edit: and I now hope Kenzie fails it too! ***

Btw, don’t look WS, not only is Kenzie’s aforementioned helmet pictured, but you can also see something large and red between his legs.

Quick, Ambulance for Wide Screen!

I don't think its Kenzie's responsibilty to equip the fire brigade...Surely that should be down to the government

Its a light entertainment show..that gives a little bit of a treat to families who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it ..I can't see any harm in that

I don't object to it not being fire equipment as the bloody gov. should be supply that in the first place!

However, I with you on the stuff for the firemans family - they get well paid and should buy their own bloody stuff!

But that's just the nature or format of the programme that is at fault.

Seems more like a gameshow format than a charity format.

I think he should do another one where he comes and stays with me and if he wins, he has to stay longer! and if he loses, he has to stay longer as well!

A win win situation!

Kenz needs exposure and is rightfully in it for that - so he wins whatever the outcome of the task!

Sorry folks, just to clarify, I too don’t believe that it is Kenzie’s responsibility to equip our fire service of their necessary tools. Such equipment as I suggested, even if it were offered, would probably not be accepted by the fire service.

What annoys me greatly are these families who are just out for “me, me, me”.
If that is just perceived as a little treat, god knows what would really make them happy!

Maybe, I was thinking he would be winning things more along the lines of new exercise or games equipment for fire crews whilst on standby - treats that would help improve the daily working lives of these hard working (and deservedly, well paid) professionals. - but which I would prefer my taxes are not sqaundered on

I see what you mean..but it does seem to be the way of these games shows, that people win personnal "stuff"

I never felt the need (nor had the money) to have a vast amount of things myself...but it does seem to make some people happy, so I don't begrude it to them
