No. I don't see what the fuss is about. Sorry.

It's not only about the trailer, or lack thereof. It's about the fact that THIS IS THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY and there's a perfectly good series of programmes on the Doctors showing on Watch and not on the BBC. Among other things.
Why can the BBC not be bothered? What's wrong with them?
People on here have mentioned Pointless and The One Show. I don't watch those programmes, and I don't want to. In the 50TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR I want (wanted) to watch Doctor Who.

No, I wouldn't.
And I only wanted to see it once - not once a day for months.
Honestly, don't people get it? I'll repeat for those who missed it - IT'S THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR!!!
IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!!
Surely the BBC should have made a bit of effort to show some MORE Doctor Who than normal? (And don't forget, we have actually had LESS than in recent years).
As I said, others can defend the BBC and express themselves perfectly satisfied with what they have begrudgingly been given.
Personally, I feel the BBC has treated the show and it's fans disgracefully.
And, please do not compare Doctor Who with other shows either in promotion or number of episodes or whatever. Normally I would agree that the show shouldn't expect preferential treatment, but, hey, you know THIS IS THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR!!! A bit of special treatment isn't unreasonable, surely?
