I think it's fair enough to keep him up to a certain point - like Michael Vaughan, he's likeable, tries hard and works well with his pro, which provides good footage in the training room as well as feel-good/laugh-along performances.
I'm sure he's well aware that his time will come and will be gracious in admitting that others need to go through.
I totally agree that the judges' votes are rigged, and I would be interested to know just how much the competition is manipulated. (answer = A LOT, the editing of the VTs, the choice of costumes, everything is calculated; I'd love to be a fly on the wall though, to see how openly it's discussed and how overt a strategy they have. Do they try and get a particular winner from the start, do they go with the flow and keep making adjustments each week?)
