Sony Ericsson S700i - help please
Hi, Can anyone help please.
I've had an S700i on O2 UK (Pay Monthly) for about a week now, the phone is great, but I just can't set up my MMS or WAP. I've been to the SE site and got the settings setting to me, but with no success. I also rang O2 and they sent me the senttings. I then rang them back and the advisor I spoke to couldn't help as the were not familiar with the phone. Can anyone please provide me with an idiot's (that's me) guide on how to do this please. Many thanx |

thanx for the reply
I have been researching on a load of different sites and as far as I can tell everything is set up. Will give them a call in the morning and double check that my contract allows me access to these. |

Go to o2's site and get the settings sent to you from there; see if that helps?

I have tried O2's site, but they don't have the S700i listed to get the settings sent via text.
Thanx for trying to help. |

Try choosing one of the other models - probably the T630 or P900 - this will work.

Tried both the T630 & the P900 - neither of the settings work.
I think that fazzyman hit the nail on the head. I'll ring O2 in the morning, and post the outcome. Thanx again. |

Problem solved.
O2 hadn't done something on my account. Not sure what it was, but the guy I spoke to activated something and hey presto 30 mins later gprs triangle appeared and now I have access to WAP and can send MMS. Thanks everyone for all the help. |
