Oups! I think you are right. She seems lovely, but so forgettable, and that is never a good thing.

1). Abbey sort of disappearing off the radar.
2). Kevin is so sweet and such a wonderful dancer - can't like Susanah though
3). Nathalie is miles ahead already. Has so much natural grace and talent.
4). Poor Rachel, however, is totally gawky, no rhythm or natural feel for the music.
5). I screeched with laughter all the way through Dave's "dance" - but honestly, how long can this last?

1 Rachel, Sophie and Abbey not natural Latin dancers. Brendan did all he could to create the party feeling but Sophie was not taking part in that party.
2 Ashley and Ben did well. Not easy dances for male celebs.
3 Dave there are no words! He is so bad I don't even consider him part of the competition. A 6 year old could do as well without having lessons.
4 Natalie is sooooo good.
5 I am loving that Deborah is genuinely loving the dancing.

1. Abbey Clancey is being over marked. Bias from some judges. 6 at best.
2. Mark is a bit dull without comedy Latin routines.
3. I like Debra Meaden.
4. Dave is useless, not sure how long his silliness will last. Don't dislike him though.
5. Patrick was a bit of a let down.

1. Len's lost the plot
2. Darcey's lost the plot
3. Vanessa's lost the plot
4. Dave and Karen have lost the plot but I quite like it
5. Bruce never had the plot

1. Loved Natalie and Artem's furious rumba
2. I am actually surprised that Sophie did a good samba, I am chuffed for Brendan getting a real contender this year (not in Natalie's league, but who knows)
3. I can't decide who was more overmarked, Susanna or Ben, and Susanna is fast becoming teachers' pet
4. The poisoned dwarf did dance better this week
5. I love Deborah's attitude and enthusiasm, I hope she stays for a while

1) I expected Ben to be bottom of the leaderboard this week! He really did well

2) My favourite couple is now Deborah & Robin! You can tell she's loving the experience and Robin always brings the fun

3) Dave & Karen can stay as long as they like for me!

4) I want Claudia Winkleman back

5) It seems Natalie, Sophie, Susanna and Ashley are the ones to watch

Bib, Sophie was also overmarked. It was not a good samba. And I do worry that she is becoming with Susanna is the judges pet.

Almost everybody was overmarked, it is the place on the leaderboard that counts in the end.

Be careful this time SCD-O. Have you read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? They'll lobotomise you for sure next time!

And welcome back! Missed you loads and loads

Picking up from poshtamfan

1. Dave is so bad, I'm not even considering him as part of the competition (I do love him though and voted for him )
2. Natalie is so good, I'm not even considering her as part of the competition (She is superb)
3. I don't warm to Susanna but fair's fair, I loved her and Kevin tonight
4. Ben was most-improved of the dancers and his Rumba was gorgeous. He tops my personal leader board. Sophie was the most backward-sliding, IMO, due to the dance not suiting her
5. Loved the connection between Mark and Iveta

I agree, all (except Natalie) were and as you said is the position on the leaderboard that counts. but she wasn't better than Fiona, or abbey. At most equal with Fiona (28).

Her samba was really weak, there were a lot of mistakes, one obvious because Brendan reposition her! Ashley danced much better his steps yet both the same score?!?

Correction if he was actually dancing badly that would be an improvement. I don't love him and I didn't vote for him. There have been useless dancers who I have entertained me( Anton did amazing routines for Ann Widdecombe and they worked ). Dave comes no where near falling into this category.

What are you correcting? I wasn't trying to say this was your opinion, just using your formula to pick out the two poles of the competition.

You can't 'correct' my opinion! I am beyond repair

If you're saying that Dave is nowhere near Ann Widdecombe's attempts at entertainment, I say - Thank flip for that!

Not surprising. I find her very forgettable and very boring :yawn:

I really like Deborahs attitude. And she has improved a lot.

Rachel looked...stunning tonight. I guess it's only fair she stinks at dancing.

Abbey is tough to watch. She looks ill and seems so tense and desperate each week.

Early SCD is always so brutal. I must have spent an hour tonight either listening to Bruce ramble on with the comic timing of a sledge hammer to the face or watching the horde of dead weight struggle to hang on for another week. I think you could eliminate a solid 6 or 7 of them now and not miss any of them.

1. Vanessa needs to wind her neck in and listen instead of talk.
2. Dave is one of the funniest men I have ever seen.
3. Sophie is pure class.
4. Someone PLEASE make Julien shut up.
5. Deborah looked fantastic and her enthusiasm is infectious.

The beaming smile on Deborah's face during her dance, and her obvious love of what she is doing, are absolutely delightful.

They've been my favourite all along, but aren't they just fantastic, I love the fact that it's obvious she isn't in it for the money as she has 40 million to her name, it's obvious she's in it because she wants the experience, wants to get glanced up in sequins and fake tan, wants to learn how to dance and wants to get as much out of the competition she can, for someone with that amount of money, she's very down to earth, most people with that would turn their heads at strictly, but she's done it out of wanting the experience, and she comes off very positively

7) The first quarter of the show was dire (except for the professional performance at the start). It picked up after then.
7) Sir Bruce - I'm glad you're fit and healthy again but it's got to the point where you detract from the show rather than aid it.
7) Ben and Kristina - where on earth did that rumba come from??? Really didn't expect that!
7) Natalie is stunning and she's needed in a series where there are more growers than showers.
7) For some reason I've got a certain number on the brain.

Disagree with you about Abbey, who lacked any kind of attack in the kicks and flicks (plus Aljaz clearly outdanced her at times).

But the unsurprising backlash has begun (after last week it was to be expected). Most of the females are worse at latin, yet she gets most of the flack for performing it.

For me, she surprised in a positive way, as I thought she would be really bad (even worse then Rachel), as I don't compare with last week or training footage.

1. Why was Abby wearing welly warmer socks?
2. Some great chemistry between Ben & Kristina, Sophie & Brendan, Ashley and Ola, Mark & Iveta, Deborah & Robin
3. The judges have nowhere left to go with scoring, except a 10 in some cases
4. Some very ropey training VTs. Julians dog, Liverpool, all the kids. Bleuh.
5. Hair department did Vanessa no favours tonight.

1. Len's marking is ridiculous
2. Deborah's attitude is brilliant. Warming to her.
3. I enjoy the show more when Bruce isn't in. Pleased you're well though.
4. Ben may be going on a journey.....
5. What did they do to Vanessa's hair!!

So these 5 thoughts are from my experience IN THE STUDIO (not had a chance to watch back the show from the tv point of view yet:

1. The rumbas both great (Natalie's classical beautiful and I thought technically better than Kara's - Artem very happy AND Ben's rumba sweet and caring - not that much gusset thrusting from Kristina);
2. Of the sambas I preferred Ashley's / Sophie didn't look a natural at "party Latin" (and I was there)
3. Dave bad - but geniusly bad (as per on the Michael/Natalie jive scale) but won't last much longer
4. Could hardly hear Bruce (hope his TV mic was turned up high) and I was sitting downstairs at the front) /Tess's outfit was lovely and I thought more professional than my last visit
5. Liked Susanna's VW but it was overmarked - as was Sophie, Abbey and Rachel (in my opinion from the studio) - Susanna had the best dress.
AND BECAUSE I WAS THERE !!!
6. Craig did know that the custard pie was coming (filmed on 2nd take) and Ola's is not good at throwing a bouquet to Bruno to catch (this had to be filmed 3 times).
