Sam Baily the WINNER Not even a competition
Im sorry but realistically and fairly there is NO competition to Sam Bailey
She was utter perfection. In every way. Effortless, beautiful, spine tingling Unfortunatley the tweenie vote will ruin the series once again But the is rightfully only one winner |

She was lovely tonight though. I just hope she doesn't turn into another wailing Niki Evans or Mary Byrne. She's got something that can be quite current.
I still thought Lorna and Abi were the best tonight by a mile. |

She is head and shoulders above anyone else, but the X Factor is now obsessed with the young vote and who is the most marketable to the kids. If she gains momentum and starts topping the vote they will do to her what they did to Mary and start nit picking and undermining her.
They will do all they can to stop her winning. |

She should be on The Voice because X Factor is about the whole package (no not Dermot's troosers again).
She was note perfect tonight. I hate that song but she actually sounded better than that Jennifer whatshername that sung it on TOTP in the 80s with the big hair and wobbly head. She is better than Mary from last year. |

She was perfect tonight, but sadly while r'n'b / urban material & good looking talentless boy groups dominate the charts, a winner like Sam would never be that marketable. If this competition was based on vocal ability then Sam would have it in the bag, but as she doesn't appeal to the younger generation, she won't win. Remember a few years ago in a final, you had Leon a singer that was flatter than Keira Knightley & the superb Operatic voice of Rhydian. Rhydian had more talent in his little finger than what Leon could ever possibly hope for, yet it was Leon who won.

Normally I'd say she won't win because of her age... But this year feels different to me... I think she's in with a better chance than people are giving her credit for. I can see her making the finals at least instead of falling at the last hurdle.

She was good tonight, but I do not find her a very strong singer as she is made out to be. She is very good, but not in the leagues of Beyonce and Jennifer Rush, who have very strong voices. These two singers have very powerful, strong vocals. Like I say, good singer, but not as powerful as she is made out to be.

I suspect Sam will turn in flawless performance after flawless performace, exactly like Leona Lewis did. She'll no doubt make the final, but she probably won't win because she's too old for the demographic of the voters. Hopefully she'll get a career out of it, though.

I bet when Cheryl Cole sings, she hears a voice like Sam Bailey's in her head.
I don't watch X Factor often, but I am glad I caught Sam's performance tonight. I hope she does well as she has talent whilst managing to be normal. |
