Anybody Else Fed Up With Silly Long Thread Titles In US-Style Initial Caps?

Terry22, I know you come alive during Strictly and it makes you tick - but please could you exercise a bit more restraint when you flood the Forum with new threads. IIt's like fighting your way through hanging creepers in the jungle. They're also annoying because they mask other threads that occasionally make a valid point. We know we cannot stop you from commenting, but - please - shorter titles and drop all those eye-tiring caps. Thank you.

Or could the mods make sure that when you 'ignore' someone that applies to threads they start as well. It's really annoying that the people who do this also continually bump their own threads to the top of the page.

The most blatant troll was the one about Iveta. Weirdly unsubtle. It seems he needed to put Troll in his User Name before the forum gets it. But it's not as if the stuff graced us with wit anyway.

Nah, I find them easy enough to skim past, sometimes they pull me in, but I'm a nosy parker

The Terms and Conditions list bumping threads as disruptive. Perhaps if you see threads bumped - I would imagine a week without replies could be applicable - you should alert. The mods are after all busy and can't monitor every thread.

I think many posters are put off by the capital thread titles, but sadly it seems that they are allowed despite sending many regular posters away from the boards. Sadly even having the poster on ignore does not remove the thread titles from the board.

It would be so much better if posters did not respond to these threads, but I can understand the desire to contradict the often mysoginistic views stated within.

I really enjoy being on this forum but the certain threads that you refer to kinda put me off posting in here at times. Which is a shame because hiding behind all those posts and threads is a great community with fabulous posters.

Maybe everyone can try replying to threads they're interested in and that means the ones that people don't like drop down the board fairly quickly.
