Pasha always does a great quickstep. That should be a great dance for Rachel and give her a boost.

Really? I don't agree hun, she's quite clumsy and very trotty, I think a foxtrot or tango might have been better for her. There's far too many steps and a lot going in a QS for Rachel at this point.

I do agree with your point about Pasha's choreography.

And this is said as someone who really likes Rachel.

Yes, when you say that, I can completely see the sense of it. I just think Pasha does it really well, he'll come up with a great story, and the audience tends to love a quickstep. So even if she is skippy/awkward, it will still go down well - like Deborah did on Saturday. I think she hasn't the strength or drama for a tango yet and she'd be forgotten in a foxtrot, whereas I think Pasha can come up with a quickstep she can smile her way through, that people will like. I'm probably the kiss of death now and it will be rubbish!

I think Rachel will do a passable quickstep given that Pasha managed to get her to go from that uncoordinated salsa to her pretty good cha-cha in one week. Less sure about Deborah - I found her cha-cha really a bit cringeworthy to watch and I'm not a fan of Robin's latin choreography.

My fear is she is going to lose it in the middle of one of the very long step sequences and it's going to be horrible with Pasha just dragging her across the floor and she won't be able to get it back.

I guess he could go the Brendan/Lisa Snowdon route and choreograph a "justabovecrawlingstep"

Hey LL, always nice to see you

Richard said exactly the same thing in the article echad kindly posted "I still feel like I'm punching way above my weight. But I think you should feel like that about your wife." - isn't that just the loveliest thing to say!

Quickstep's a safe dance, I think it has one of the lowest elimination rates and it tends to be easy points as long as you're not Jerry Hall levels of bad about it. I think character dances (e.g. Paso, Rumba) may be where Rachel really struggles (and Samba, but doubt we'll see it for a long while if at all), but she's probably fine for several weeks regardless.

Watch the live stream of ITT and Patrick/Anya are doing the Cha-Cha. I'm glad he's going back to a fast paced Latin dance because that really suits him.

Given the last time Anton choreographed a rumba, it was with Widdy, but the Rumba he did was Laila was fine, had she not injured herself it would've been great. I imagine it would be veering on the latter with Fiona.

Can he do it in one of his Latin jumpsuits? The yellow one if I get a vote!

Front row of the audience sit well back for this one.

You've conveniently blocked drunk Nancy emerging from the dead from your mind! (then again... was that really a Rumba? Nah...)

Anton did a rumba with Nancy, in fact it was their exit. I remember the choreography being OK it was just that Nancy was very unstable (in more ways than one).

I think the Rumba will suit Fiona actually. We'll see.
