ITV app not working on Samsung blu ray player
I have a Samsung blu ray player connected via ethernet to my 30meg Virgin broadband.
Everything works fine except the ITV app. It take a while to load, selection of the show works fine but when you press Watch Now all we get is a black screen. The ITV app works fine on my Nexus 7 tablet & a HTC One phone Has anyone else experienced similar problems with their Samsung blu ray player, Can anyone suggest a way forward. Thanks in advance for any help/advice. |

Hi Tom, did you ever get a resolution for this? It seems some Samsung F-7000 series televisions also have the same problem.

I don't know who to email.
Didn't Samsung help ITV develop this app in return for the exclusive use of it for so many months? |

Hi Tom, I've heard from someone else who has this problem, and ITV wrote back to them to say that there are known issues with the F-7000 series and they are working on a resolution, but have no time scale for it.
![]() A new firmware has come out and it may help, but I suspect not. In any case, the firmware has to officially be 1029.1 or higher. |
