I think it would be a shame if Nicole left, I hope she doesn't - because, if all four judges leave, I think that could possibly mean the end... I think one factor that has affected the ratings is the fact that the judging panel hasn't been consistent recently. It would be great if this year's judges all stayed, as much as I'd like Simon to come back too.

What do you all think

Simon has to come back to get the show back on its feet.

Louis may stay if he comes back, and he could somehow bring Cheryl back.

Yes- I think Simon, Cheryl, Louis and Nicole would be a good panel - unless they can also somehow bring Dannii back too...

Sharon is only doing this year, I really hope Nicole and Louis change their mind and don't go, I like them.

Louis will be back and I think if Sharon is given the right offer she will stay on the show.

Something I don't like about Nicole. Can't quite put my finger on what it is about her...

I'll be happy if all the judges go. It'd be like a fresh start for a fresh decade. Somehow, I don't see Louis going anywhere, though

No, no, no, no. That was when the manipulation was at it's worst!

Never used to like Nicole but she has been fantastic on the panel, especially this year, and last night she looked beyond stunning. I could see Louis staying when it boils down to it, especially if Simon returns, and would be staggered if his return did not include a double package of him and Cheryl coming back.

So that would mean either Nicole stays on and there is a big rivalry between her and Cheryl, or she goes and a new face is brought in.

I do not think Dannii will be back on the UK version. She is now on the Aussie version. But I do think Cheryl will be back if Simon returns. There were reports about her going back to 'The X Factor', so she could be back next year.

For me, Nicole has been brilliant on the UK show, so I will miss her.

I don't think Cheryl would want to be on the same panel as Nicole. Remember, Nicole reportedly lobbied for Cheryl's seat on XF USA.

But yeah, Simon-Cheryl-Louis + another female judge sounds like heaven.

Ditch Sharon, she's crap. It's best when Simon's on it.

I cannot see Nicole and Cheryl on the same panel. They both fit the same role, although I personally think Nicole is more likeable.

Cheryl will never return, that's for sure. Not after her silly lawsuit.

You're only saying that because she's decided to leave.

Just because there may be new judges doesn't mean Melanie will be through again.

It was x-factor USA she sued, not x-factor UK. With GA a thing of the past, her own chances of a top notch solo career fading, there is only the L'Oreal contract now.

Suddenly a return to X-factor won't seem so shabby an offer, and they are in the power position here, not her. They know they don't have to go overboard in their offer to her, she is the one needing the job now.

I wouldn't want to see Cowell back.
I think it would be another nail in a coffin which should be 6 Feet Under, already.

Walsh isn't going to leave....trust me..

I think the only way to save this show is a complete overhaul..

Among other things, I'd go for:

1. 4 judges who all have some musical kudos.
2. Stop making up groups out of individual singers.
3. Stick to room auditions and have no live shows until after judges houses.
4. Make Boot Camp and the Judges Houses, about the learning, singing process, who cares whether it's in Bognor, or in Martinique..I'm not watching it for the location.
5. Refuse to allow the filming of any blubbing
6. Let's hear what the judges actually think of not only other people's acts, but also their own, good or bad..

Rich.

XF needs to end & if Simon has any sense, he'll come up with a new idea for a show. These reality/singing/sometimes howling competitions, are becoming monotonous & a tad bit boring.

It doesn't surprise me, after her split with thingy majig (the F1 driver whose name escapes me) i guess she has less of a reason to want to be in the UK.

Louis will stay if Simon comes back. Hopefully Nicole will too.

It wouldn't surprise me if Cheryl returned, just like Jlo on American Idol, they need these shows to sell their music.

They really need to give the show a couple of years off and then come back with some fresh ideas.
