I'm switching off - it's not a competition it's a Natalie exhibition.

Wow you get a 9 from me. I can see the choreography already.. a lovely snappy sweep of the pashmina, bringing it in tightly around your body a nice toss of the head and pursed lips - I can see you have been putting in the training. Good job!!

Well, doubly hard for the blokey sportsmen, but really easy for the airy-fairy ones.

Oh come on!!!!!
How often has the best dancer actually won? Kara springs to mind but otherwise the most popular with the ladies or with the public in general usually wins, at least in the last few years.
Tom? Harry? Chris?

Yeah I'm flouncing. I love Sophie and I'll quite readily admit she was not at her best last night. But no matter how much she improves during the series she's never going to reach Natalie's level, which seems a bit unfair to me.

I loved Jill and she had dance-experience for sure but Denise Lewis was wonderful. Better than Jill in some dances. I had a soft spot for Roger Black. He improved greatly.

Jill was my favourite but I don't remember her being so far ahead of the field. Natalie is on a different planet-of-dahhhnce-dahhhling.

But I feel Sophie has had a lot of dance training over the years, it is obvious, she is just not a natural dancer so will never achieve what Natalie has.

And yet Strictly history suggest she actually stands more chance of winning

I think a lot of Jill's dances get overlooked because of the jive. Her tango and paso were fabulous and probably even better

Jill wasn't Denise's equal in the waltz or foxtrot, I think. I don't remember exactly but I can still picture Denise's ballroom shaping.

Why do people get so het up about who wins? I think for most (MOST) of the celebs, it's the experience they're really in it for. They want to get to the final because they want to stay in the show and keep dancing, learning as long as they can.

Nothing is a foregone conclusion on SCD, there is the risk of injury (Kara won despite that, but it could have been more serious) and with Natalie in particular, the risk is more risky because she has a prior fairly severe injury.

As for effortless - Natalie is putting in a lot of hours and we don't know how much pain she's in from her back. I do hope she's not doing anything against medical advice.

Ah so I guess you have a bet on Sophie this year Seriously I would not worry too much as Sophie and Brendon appear to be good for a few quid and are better placed than Natalie for the win.....and its hardly unfair if Sophie does not have the same natural ability as Natalie for dancing is it.

Natalie is a celebrity? She's just a former Corrie actress, not quite the same thing.

Worry not. People will get bored with her perfection.

Why on earth would anyone be bored watching beautiful dancing I could watch it for hours.

Maybe you can flounce off if Vanessa stays or Bruce carries on. I find Strictly provides us all with equal opportunities for flouncing.

I was expecting to like her, as previously I'd really liked her in previous interviews, but I've not been very taken with her up to now. I think it might be because I don't really get the adoration of Artem. Also I don't really rely on Strictly for my supply of good dancing. I separate out the two now or otherwise I'd be tearing my hair out about all the important things that the judges skim over. So the journey and watching someone learn is more interesting for me.

Because dance is only a part of it. People want journey.

I will never get bored watching Natalie. Artem's choreography is truly brilliant and she rises to everything he puts before her. Long may they reign I LOVE them

It is fab to watch beautiful dancing so early on - some of the rest is tedious but it's great when they improve. Does it really matter who wins? It makes little difference to their careers in the long run.

Nah, you can't just flounce about anything, that dilutes the power of the flounce.

I had a mini flounce at the scores Jason Donovan got for his AT but my last proper flounce was Austin. I missed the whole of the next series sulking.

It really depends if she can get fans behind her or it's just her dancing and judges' votes that keep her in. There are so many things, likes, dislikes that are at least as important as a quality of dancing.
