I'm happy Aliona came back and we get to see her in pro dances, the one with Aljaz was fantastic.

She and Tony seem to get on really well, which is great.

A lot can happen over the next 12 months, so I wouldn't automatically assume she won't be back. I believe she's already involved in Children in Need this year.”

I suspect the only reason she's involved in SCD Children in Need is because Natalie Lowe's foot still isn't quite healed.

I think it's been pointed out a couple of times here that Aliona is here for the series regardless of when Natalie's foot has healed.

They partnered Aliona with Johnny Ball last year as a pre-emptive ploy to remove her from the show - her success with Matt Baker and Harry Judd preventing an unseemly earlier exit. Reluctantly recalled this year, they promptly did a reshuffle to get her paired with no-hoper Tony Jacklin.

Brendan, Anton and James Jordan can be controversial, but woe betide any of the others that rock the boat.

Len really didn't like it when she answered him back either...

Maybe no-one would answer back to Len if he had something interesting to say.

And what is he? The Benito Mussolini of the dance world? If Aliona disagrees with him, what's the big issue?
