Sunshine did well to increase its ratings from last week and Cop with Cameras did solid business as well. WWTBAM has settled quite well in the Tuesday slot and I wouldn't be surprised if it remains there or gives ITV the opportunity to try out other gameshows and documentaries in this slot.

Five has a solid Tuesday schedule with Nature Shock doing better than expected and CSI Miami and CSI NY doing great business. Jamie's Ministry of Food drop from 3.1m to 2.5m is worrying considering the competition is pretty weak, I would have thought it would have gone up.

Oh ITV, why do you want this to be a flop?! Even 7:15 wouldn't have been a suitable time, let alone 6:15!

The mind fully boggles, what would have been wrong with

7.00pm Heartbeat
8.00pm Britannia High
9.00pm A Touch of Frost
11.00pm News
11.15pm The South Bank Show

Yeh, very odd. ITV had a great opportunity, to sandwich it between the 2 X Factor shows on Saturdays (and have Family Fortunes on Sunday). Dear oh dear, regarding how they've schedule it currently. As for TOF, I agree that its ratings will go down. But I think it may also dent Strictly's audience, as I imagine both audiences are similar.

No, not the day the TIMESLOT is slot. Why at 15 past the hour, what's wrong with deal on the hour?

That scheduling is stupid. The week after because in case the ITV schedulers don't have a brain, they have to be on the hour anyway (i.e. BH at 19:00 or 19:15) because of F1!!!

The only thing interesting is http://www.itv.com/PressCentre/FACup...4/default.html”

I think they did it 15 past the hour to keep it in sync with the BBC schedules which are also 15 past the hour.

I wonder what they'll do on the F1 Brazil week- not show BH or show it later, meaning that Heartbeat won't be shown?

The race due to start at 17:00.

Typical programme would be from 16:00 to 19:00, however, as it is not only the final race of the season but also ITV's final ever Formula One broadcast, I would hope for the programme to run from 16:00 to 19:15. That maybe why it's at a quarter past sync the week earlier.

Also, it's the final episode of ATOF the week earlier.

MY GUESS - NOVEMBER 2ND
16:00 - F1: Brazilian Grand Prix
19:15 - Britannia High
20:15 - Heartbeat
21:15 - ????/ITV News????

One thing I bloody hope doesn't happen is that ITV rush the post-race so they can get into Britannia High!

They'd be going from a ratings banker to a ratings flop.

I'm getting ready for "Britannia High follows this race.... Britannia High follows this race"

Little Dorrit starts in two weeks and it will be interesting how they schedule it. I think they schedule it Wednesday and Thursday or possibly Tuesday and Thursday and have Holby on Wednesdays.

Even established shows like Strictly struggle pre-7pm, I really dont know what ITV are expecting in that slot TBH.

I dont think it's good Heartbeat is going out on the quatre of the hour assuming SCD is on at 8.00.

ITV are getting really good at flopping shows now.

They've got it down to a fine art.

Britannia High has literally no chance of success there.

Australia: Very good for Seven, and Nine also had a decent night. Ten did well with NCIS.

UK: Hollyoaks did very well on E4 and Shanghai Knights was a good performer for BBC3. BBC2's Tuesday schedule is very weak at the moment. Five and C4 had good nights. Holby City presumably came second on the day behind EE. E4 got 0.3m for a film shown in the same slot the day before.

As somebody pointed out to me a few pages back when I was moaning about the scheduling of Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor got a big audience at that time and so did Strictly last year. It might just work for ITV.

If it had a programme aimed at the same audience after it I may agree with you, but Heartbeat & Antiques Roadshow viewers aren't going to be watching Britannia High I don't think so it may just get lost in the schedules.

If ITV are going to air it at 6.15pm it may as well be shown on Saturday up against SCD or Merlin where tbh it would have a better chance.

Australian ratings wise, Seven had another solid night with Packed to the Rafters and Find My Family pulling in 1.8m+ and every other programme pulling in 1m. Nine had a good night though The Chopping Block was beaten by The Simpsons while Ten did well with NCIS and Rush did good as well.

Five should try and improve its daytime schedule because it would help boost its all hours share and perhaps beat Channel 4 on occassions.

BBC Two's Tuesday is weak considering the rest of the week is pretty solid. Perhpas Fashion is not the right choice for the BBC Two audience.

NCIS did very well as did House though The Mentalist and Fringe lost a good chunk of their lead in though for The Mentalist to beat DWTS is very good and CBS would be mad not to give it a full season order. Eli Stone did okay against WaT and SVU but I don't have much hope for its future.

Opportunity Knocks is doing very badly and I wouldn't be surprised if it is in danger of cancellation.

I complete agree. Half hour breakdown:

Nope, nothing. The 9pm slot is definitely filled with other shows Mon to Thu, though.

And it's not just Britannia High, either. What a total mess that is. They seem to have commissioned too much for autumn weekends. And I think they ought to have brought Saturday Night Takeaway back as it is one of the few shows that might do OK against SCD.

They also seem to have Heartbeat on nearly all year in varying slots and with random weeks off. Perhaps scale it down a bit and try and air it consistently.
