Is the final rating for the first edition out yet? Did it reach 2 million?
I think the final consoledated rating for the first episode will be out next week.

I personally don't remember a programme on ITV1 rating that low in Primetime..I expect something on five to get a rating of 1.5m in primetime but not ITV1!

Five actually got more than that a few days ago for Paul Merton and was only 200k behind ITV1 last night.

Embarrassing times for ITV, surely they will bump it off to 10.40pm or ITV4 now.

Not sure if the final schedules for next weekend have been posted, but I'll do it anyway...

Saturday 18th Oct

BBC1
5.05 BBC News, Weather
5.25 Hole in the Wall
5.55 Merlin
6.40 Strictly Come Dancing
8.10 National Lottery: Who Dares Wins
9.00 Casualty
9.50 BBC News
10.00 Little Britain USA
10.30 Match of the Day

ITV1
5.40 ITV News
5.55 Totally You've Been Framed
6.55 NEW: Harry Hill's TV Burp
7.25 The X Factor
9.25 All Star Family Fortunes
10.10 The X Factor Results
10.55 ITV News

Sunday 19th Oct

BBC1
6.10 Ian Fleming: Where Bond Began
7.10 Antiques Roadshow
8.10 Strictly Come Dancing: Results
9.00 Steven Fry in America
10.00 BBC News

ITV1
2.55 F1: Chinese Grand Prix
6.00 ITV News
6.30 You've Been Framed
7.00 Best Ever Worse Dance Moments (with Justin Lee Collins)
8.00 Heartbeat
9.00 A Touch of Frost
11.00 ITV News

BBC - All pretty normal - not much to talk about.
ITV - I think they are really over doing You've Been Framed - this show has been stretched to breaking point now with all manner of repeats and re-hashes. Best Ever Worse Dance Moments seems out of place. Looking increasingly likely that Britannia High will take Sundays at 7pm.

Note: ITV1 has Man Utd v Celtic on Tues 21st, which I think will be a big winner for them.
Why don't the BBC move SCD to 8pm on Saturday and have done with it? It's gradually encroaching the later evning slot anyway - I remember last year the show coming on at 5.45.

The X Factor can't come on much later that 7.25. I do wonder whether the 6.30 slot may work well for it as suggested previously, as well as giving it a lead over SCD:

5.40 News
6.00 Harry Hill's TV Burp
6.30 The X Factor
8.30 All Star Family Fortunes
9.15 the X Factor Results
10.00 News

As for last night...how long are ITV going to persist with Natural Born Sellers? Until it dips below the 1m mark? Stick the show on ITV2 and place a repeat on ITv1 (something like Taggart - or maybe even London's Burning to pre-empt it's rumoured return - that'd do respectably)

Natural Born Sellers is an utter disaster. They really should pull it now. I know they stuck it out with poor ratings for some of their new shows because pulling them does nothing for the channels image - but in this case the damage is already done. However embarrasing pulling something might be, its nothing compared to record low audiences.

Richard and Judy another example of shoddy daytime TV finding its way into Primetime. Really embarrasing figures for them, but its a stupid time to air that sort of show. If they want to save any face, they really should switch it to 6 or 7 pronto.

Which is a bit of a silly time for BBC One's single biggest entertainment show to be airing. I don't think they can be blamed for wanting to move it back into central primetime a little more - it started out in these much later slots.

At the end of the day, there are 2hrs 45mins of X Factor next saturday night, spread across nearly 4 hours - Its pretty hard to avoid. The BBC have every right to schedule their shows where they think they'll be most successful, regardless of what ITV is doing.

ITV1 did poorly with NBS coming in fourth, they need to relegate to a later slot and replacing with either a drama repeat or move World's Greatest Cities to Thursdays. Silent Witness is doing great business for BBC One as is Buzzcocks for BBC Two. Five did okay with Extraordinary People but they need to dump I Own Britain's Best Home and Garden as it is dragging their share down and was beaten by BBC Four at the time.

ITV1's 'Natural Born Sellers', billed as the poor man's 'The Apprentice', dropped from its debut figure last week of 1.7m viewers to 1.5m last night, a 6.9% audience share.

Is this the lowest ITV1 have ever dropped in Primetime?

I don't see this lasting very long in its current slot..
It's like 'Tycoon' all over again - when will ITV take the hint?

Who on earth is making all these decisions at ITV?

They should employ me as some overpaid consultant. I can smell a flop a mile off.

There's one small problem with that... how am I supposed to create and maintain a website about TV without any pictures? LOL. Text only websites simply don't cut the mustard, or indeed generate any hits.

A fun little project for me in my spare time has become a total non starter for this reason.
Dancc - it might be worth contacting people (producers, actors etc) who worked on the programmes your site will be featuring, as they might have non-copyrighted photos they'll supply you with. Although, admittedly, it might not be easy to get in contact with them in the first place.

They need to move it now. It was only their stubborn pride that kept it in that slot for a second week.

If it had been an expensive new six-part drama attracting 1.7m viewers for its first outing, then it would have been worth sticking with it for another week, but with it being a disposable reality show, it should have been bumped after week one.

Similarly you could say that it is a stupid time to be airing an even more expensive drama. Or commissioning primetime formats for 5.25pm. I think the 9.5 million that watched X Factor on a Sunday at 6.10pm showed that it is quite possible to attract a huge audience in early evening, even on a Sunday where there is usually nothing at all on at that time.

And ITV need to axe Natural Born Sellers now. ITV4 at 9pm or ITV1 after the news. Stick Taggart or some other crime repeat in its place for the next 4 weeks.

I think they'll annoy, what, 200k viewers (rough %age of 1.5m that don't have freeview) if they shift it to ITV4 so a timeslot change is more likely, if they move it at all.

XF results finishing at 5 to 11?

No Britannia High?

Hour-long You've Been Framed at 6pm?

Merlin back before Strictly again?
Polonius is... !!

Seriously, yeah, IMO BBC and ITV should be consistent in scheduling.

BBC One had a really good primetime last night, while ITV did quite terribly. Especially Natural Born Sellers, which is absolutely terrible. Who the hell is commisioning this crap- first Echo Beach and now this?! They should have changed the slot immediately after they saw the ratings for the first episode- an absolute load of tripe; shouldn't even be on tv.

Out of the multichannels, BBC4 had a great night yesterday. E4 was also strong. ITV2's daytime schedule must be rating brilliantly as it's all-day share was over 2%.

Regarding ITV's weekend schedules, I think they've left too much for the Autumn. They virtually had nothing on during the summer and now have too much to fit into the Saturday night schedules. I wonder what will happen to Britannia High - it looks like it possibly will go in the Sunday 7pm slot.

Great night for BBC1 last night with everything performing well for them. BBC2 have hits up until 9.30pm and that seems like the cursed comedy slot as no comedies seem to perform well at 9.30pm.

ITV1 had an extremely poor showing for NBS, but I am wondering if they will actually stick this one out to show they won't just pull anything. Otherwise I can't see why they didn't pull it after last weeks edition, because it was never going to improve this week.

CH4 slightly back on track with 8OTC improving which is good to see, but I can't see FIVE recomissioning IOBBHAG.

Another great night for the multichannels with everyone (except Watch!) getting a look in. Surprsingly CelebAir is performing better in its new slot aswell!

The XXL Thursday block works well for ITV2 showcasing new original content and I think it could be copied by other channels.

I Own Britian's Best Home and Garden has finished its run being replaced by an Apollo 13 documenatry and Extraordinary People is replaced by Danger Men which is the latest of dangerous jobs documentaries airing on the channel.

Cookalong Live returns to Channel 4 on Friday 24th October and it will be interesting how it performs as a series because it got high ratings as a one-off special as part of The Food Season but against tougher competition from BBC One, ITV1 and possibly BBC Two, I'm not sure if it can achieve the same ratings.

Steady on. It's not that bad. I can't help think the negative comments have been exacerbated by the fact that the ratings are so poor. I think it's quite watchable. I think it fails because it's a blatant rip-off of an established successful format and the Thursday slot seems to be doomed to failure.
