No media sources reported the rating unfortunately. Best to check the Barb website in two weeks time when the official ratings come out.

How long before it goes down to 0?

Pretty soon the people that actually watch this show will be able to do the ratings themselves, with a show of hands..!

Thanks. I don't get why they don't just report overnights for everything. I guess you can get them if you pay - but why should it be top secret info when in other weeks it isn't?

Ideally, we'd all want every single rating reported!

But that would just take far too much time for the authors of the articles to write. They do tend to generally focus on the main ratings, but unfortunately that doesn't satisfy everyone. I'm a bit annoyed sometimes that sources other than DS don't report the soap ratings daily- it might be a bit repetitive, but I do like seeing how they rate.

American ratings wise, CBS did really well with CSI drawing big numbers but Eleventh Hour lost half its lead in audience which is worrying. It seems the only show that has retained the CSI lead in is Without a Trace which has been moved to Tuesdays. Life on Mars did very well for ABC and NBC had a good night with its comedy block though it will be interesting how Kath and Kim does in the coming weeks.

My Own Worst Enemy starts on Monday and it looks pretty good, unfortunately with a weak lead in and CSI Miami dominating the 10pm slot, I can't see this getting more than 6-7m at best.

I find it strange that sometimes the top rated show of the day is not reported (i.e. a soap).

Hmm. I'm noticing a pattern.
Spoiler
It's not a good one

Now if they'd called the channel "Don't Watch" they might have been onto a winner.

It must be my age but everytime I hear Watch, I think of this schools programme from the BBC.

Thanks for the tip Pizza - I suspect you're right but I'll look into it.

Glad it's not just me. I've had it come up about 3 times today already, but it's not exclusive to this thread I don't think!

It's weird how it seems to popup so instantly though and seems to be getting through the Firefox blocker. Don't like it at all.

Life on Mars lost well over 10% of its viewers at the half hour, which doesn't bode well for its future...

It's repeated at 5:

Well one might ask since the above is possible in the US - why is it not possible here? I sometimes also wonder if ratings aren't trumpeted when they are good but "forgotten" about when they are not (at least for flagship / expensive to produce or new shows)

I know it's more than a bit late, but last week someone asked for the ratings for WWE Friday Night Smackdown on its first week on MyNetworkTV.

It got 3.2 million viewers, making it the most watched show in MNTV history (albeit that history is only 2 years). The show was the highest rated programme on TV last Friday among men 18-49, 33% ahead of its nearest rival. Its 18-49 audience was 233% higher than MNTV's average.

LMAO! Good night then?! Still, it has lost about a million (IIRC) from when it was on The CW. I guess that proves how MNT is still to reach the whole of the country... or perhaps how unknown the channel still is.

EDIT: Looking at the article, it's available to 97% of the country so it must be people's knowledge of it.

I presume that'll be two one-hour TBA's. Britannia High as we've said all along destined for Sunday either at 7pm or 8pm. It might be a clever move to put Heartbeat at 7pm, leaving Britannia High in between Heartbeat and Touch of Frost, thus potentionally keeping viewers with ITV for the whole night.

Apart from that it's as expected, EXCEPT SCD moves before Merlin.... again.

BBC1 need to make up their mind regarding Merlin, although perhaps they're trying to please all viewers by alternating it. Interesting that Little Dorrit is going in a very early slot. I'm surprised and would have thought it would be better swapping it with AR.

I think it looks like BH is destined for Sundays now almost definite, so I think it could actually take the 8pm slot which would be the best Sunday slot imo. As ITV said ''it will take a very competitive slot with no room for hiding'' or something along those lines and 8pm Sunday is one of the most competitive slots of the week.

I expect Merlin to be before SCD when the final schedules are revealed. Also, I can't see Little Dorrit airing at 6.25pm.

I can see BBC1 going:

6.15 Antiques Roadshow
7.15 Strictly Come Dancing
8.00 Little Dorrit

SCD has attracted complaints because of its late Sunday slot. They'll also want to maximise the audience for Little Dorrit.

If BBC1 do what I've said above, then I agree that it would be a good idea for Heartbeat to air at 7pm, with BH at 8pm.

As for the Saturday schedule, if (which I bet they will) Merlin and SCD are swapped, and if ITV don't change anything, the XF/SCD clash is only 20 minutes.

Little Dorrit is airing as two thirty-minute eps per week. Probably on weeknights, the way the other 15-parter did a couple of years ago. EDIT: It's 14 parts. Two of the eight episodes of Spooks will be airing in the last week of October, so by my reckoning, that leaves no room for a 9pm EastEnders.
