The countless rubbish 3 part dramas they've created this year have tarnished their reputation. Soon as you see an ad for an ITV drama now, you make sure your out at that time lol.

What does everyone think Dead Set will get?
I dont know about Dead Set.

Its the sort of thing I'd love but I only saw one advert for it.

Lots of people on here saying its been heavily advertised, but I guess I just dont watch much Channel 4 or E4 anymore.

I'd guess it might get 600,000 - 800,000, thats around what Secret Diary of a Call Girl got.

Countless? They've had a few this Autumn, most of which have been well received. Indeed, most of have said they're a huge improvement on the drama series we were getting at the beginning of the year.

Well either their countless or unmemorable. As I can't name one of them, but I've seen them advertised every Monday during Corrie for a while now.

They are only countless if you can't count as far as 3.

Please, someone tell me what the breakdown was for 7-7.15pm when 10.4m "pensioners" were watching Antiques Roadshow? I'm itching to know...
Greedy mercenary pensioners who would sell their own furniture to make a few bob. We all know its just pawn shop tv disguised as eduction

Thanks for that.

Not too bad for Spooks.. thought it would be a little higher but over 5 million is pretty good and it's a decent share too.

I thought Spooks would hit 6 million but it's been hovering around the 5-6 million mark for the last few years. It hasn't been hot in the ratings since its first series.

Did the two Coronation Street episodes start and finish on time?

Good ratings for dead set. Not quite on the skins scale, but it wasn't as promoted half as much.

I think Max week should have got off to a better start though.

Excellent multi-channel ratings. Over 700k for HK USA is fantastic - seems to be building towards the end of the series from a launch figure of around 300k IIRC. And GoldenEye did well, but that's to be expected given the current hype around the new Bond film coming out.

Dead Set got about the number I was expecting. But it won't hold onto this figure all week IMO, wouldn't be surprised if it loses half its original audience by Friday.

Interesting that My Name is Earl did about as well as Friends normally does in the 8pm slot, and Friends also did well. (but not as well as normal)

Overall a fantastic night for both E4 and ITV2.

Glad Hells Kitchen and Dead Set did good, well deserved too. Its amazing how Hells Kitchen has increased over the series
Good night for all the channels at 9pm really even for Unbreakable which increased, but I was expecting a little more for SPooks.
I think Embarrassing bodies week will do well for C4 and keep its audience.

The fact that no soaps are above 10m (or 7m for Emmerdale) and we are nearly in November is a tad worrying.

Great ratings for Dead Set but as Dancc has said, I don't think it will hold onto that figure as the week goes on but we'll see.

Good night for BBC One, BBC Two and Channe; 4 though Spooks was a little lower than I expected. Wired ended on a whimper and Unbreakable increased but I can't see getting recommissioned.

The Gadget Show has a loyal audience attracting the same figure so far.

Some great multichannel ratings last night with Dead Set taking the limelight and E4 will be pleased with the ratings. E4 is having a great time at the moment with Hollyoaks recently comfortably breaking the 1 million barrier and now Dead Set.

ITV2 also put in a great performance with HK and the Bond film- a great share for both. It's a great idea for ITV to showcase many Bond films on ITV2 this week in the lead up to Quantam Of Solace being released.

A great result for the first look Spooks episode, considering it was shown half an hour after the main episode finished.

Great night for BBC2 last night aswell and a great result for Embarrasing Bodies in a tough slot for CH4 usually.

A solid start for Spooks, but I think 5.5m may be the best rated episode of the series, because with the first chance episodes the BBC1 rating will be down. Also there are Sunday night BBC1 repeats for some reason. Also ITV have a new Taggart next Monday which will dent Spooks, plus IAC returns soon on ITV. However BBC1 will be pleased if it remains around the 5m mark because with repeats included it should be reaching around the 7 million mark.

No surprises that Wired was dented from having the same audience as Spooks and Unbreakable didn't really benefit much from Bruce Parry finishing. Though even with the poor rating for Wired ITV's all hours seem very low for a Monday at 18.1%-the new daytime schedule obviously flopped.
