Wonder if it was VCM's stipulation that she have a lectern to stand behind for the Connecting Wall. Seems a bit daft, we all know she was pregnant (she even made a couple of references to it), and I don't see what's wrong with being visibly so...

I don't know how pregnant she was when this was filmed. Maybe she was getting a bit of back ache as sometimes happens, and wanted something to lean on if necessary to take the strain off her back?

Actually, thinking about it, it's probably the only thing.....

She would have been a good seven and a half months pregnant when this was filmed, so I'd imagine she did just want something to prop herself up on when needed. On her own website she makes a quip about the contestants barely being able to see the connecting wall past her, so it's hardly like she was trying to hide it.

She mentioned not having a drink in 7 months (god forbid!).

Is that type of tee-total martyrdom really warranted, I'm sure the occasional glass of vino-de-asda won't do the sprog any harm .

The only one from last night I remember getting was the cricket grounds one, but while the others are known as Wantage Road, New Road and Grace Road I have never heard of the county ground in Derby called Nottingham Road.

That threw me as well as I only live up the road from Derby - it wasn't the names of the grounds, but the names of the roads that they are on - The County Ground in Derby is on the Nottingham Road.
