Back to my post that you were replying to, can you run us through your thought sequence in the 5 seconds you had available to make you think Depeche Mode was the correct answer? i.e identify song title, artist, members of group, sequence involving any member of that group, whilst also ruling out any possible sequence involving the song and/or it's title. All in the 5 seconds available?”
"C" cannot be the first clue in the sequences round, as you have pointed out there are far too many variables of what it could actually be.
The questions are designed that it should really only have one correct answer for the 4th clue.
44th: Timberwolf was the perfect example of this.
The Music sequence was straightforward for me, but i accept not for everyone. (The gang of 4 political leaders was lost to me, but not for others as an example of one i simply didnt work out.)
I know the song was an erasure track within a second. It was instantly recognizable to me. I thought of andy bell and vince clark - knew that he had been part of 4 bands and erasure was the last and Depeche Mode was the first.
I'm a bit of a fan, and had recently watched the youTube video "synth Britania" too.
When you know them, and you know you know them, its a great feeling.
