Love the idea of him eating cheese from a Billy Goat.

Sadly, Thor let me down. His smug face, jowly chops and rapidly receding hairline went un-detonated. Anyone need any goat entrails? They're going spare. |

Dear lord, that man's fuzzy head is so up his own bum! And what kind of doctor doesn't know that you can't get milk from a male mammal?! Nice to see that Emma has got over her stage fright, she seems much more relaxed this time.

The fact that he didn't know that Swansea was in Wales, when being in Wales at the time was just staggering.
You wonder how these people cope in real life. I wouldn't be confident of having him as my doctor. He must have some brains somewhere to get to that level. |

The calculator question was stupid, using an LCD font made it far too obvious. And why was 070616 the 1 point? Surely 5318008 was by far the most common clue? I don't ever remember spelling "gigolo" on a calculator...

I was rather upset that they seemed to be given 2 or 3 points that they hadn't earned. How on earth could they be given the point for hush a bye baby? Surely mentioning the song has to be essential? There a couple of other instances which escape me at the moment. Okay, they were never going to win, but OC is not that type of show.

On a tangent, in University Challenge there was a question about the first messages sent via SMS, telegraph etc, exactly as appeared on OC a couple of weeks ago. Now I don't believe in coincidences, and this happens fairly often, so do all the question setters get together and swap ideas, or have they come from a common origin? I assume the programmes are recorded at widely spaced intervals in time and distance. |

It was scandalous they got a point for round the world when they had absolutely no clue why. How can anybody have avoided hearing about Palin's travels? Bloody hell.

Anyone see Emma in the latest episode of this series. She made me laugh. She looked like a guy! I think she was a pre-sex op man. No offence meant but I struggled not to laugh out loud. It was like something out of a comedy sketch show. Emma - you are a star!

once again the 'play along' walls aren't up when the programme is broadcast (or still even, 4 hours later)
this happens quite regularly now oh and is it me, or was tonights show veering on pantomime? Between the man-in-drag, idiot clown guy with the wild hair, mindless banter, easy questions and dumb answers.... it was like watching a comic relief parody I think Only Connect is beginning to circle the shark. |

I was before, and I am again so depressed by some people's attitudes towards Emma. I don't know if they're on the wind up or not.
I will however admit that the Board Gamers (well Jamie mainly) get on my nerves. The way he goes on bantering with Victoria. They could've at least edited it out but I guess when the Lasletts finished the wall so quickly they had to fill in. Victoria seemed to really like them. I pray they don't get through to the semis. |

I think you must be looking in the wrong place, I had the walls up and was playing along during the original broadcast.

If you don't refresh your cache, it's possible the walls don't appear for you. So hammer F5 next time.
