Totally agree. Upbeat music and there is a little sizzle in the Doc. As I said it is very tantalizing and I think the magic may be back.

All right Mona! It does look like fun. Martin seems more like the old Martin and ME and ME's reunion has the potential to be light and humorous too! Hearing this from a naysayer really lifts my spirits. I am in Florida with my friend Sarah and we leave for England in 5 days to attend Buckham Fair. Maybe I can rummage up an attitude adjustment.....

Ms Sarah - you twirled me around the room w/ you ! Trailer is fun! All hints are that S7 will be fun! Woo hoo!

Zarwen - have you not seen Sherlock 3 yet? If not, you're in for a great ride. Moffat/Gattis et al have this thing down. Great entertainment.

Lovely to see Martin on The One Show tonight! Lots of little hints about the new series and a clip from episode one. He's in usual grumpy mode! I didn't enjoy the last series but this one sounds good and some excellent guest stars by the look of it! Looking forward to Sept 27th!

I thought that. Unless they are starting Downton later with the final episode on Xmas day?

I think it's probably the 28th. Mon is one of the few days to launch a new series because of the rugby.

The S7 press pack is available now at the ITV website. I'm reading it now. The Caroline Catz/Louisa section is very, very interesting! Beware of big-time spoilers. Here's the link: http://www.itv.com/presscentre/press...artin-s7-2015#

ALL the spoilers. ALL the feelings. I've never read a press pack before - seems like quite a bit of plot lines, etc. are revealed. I love it!!

Spoiler
I'm pleasantly surprised at the Doc's diligence in carrying out the therapist's suggestions. I wasn't expecting that. I truly hope that it's "really satisfying for the audience" to see how the therapy plays out!

Spoiler
I also like the fact that Caroline Catz described the therapy sessions as funny.

Surprised no one has mentioned Our Hero's photo and article in the new issue of TV Guide!

I've just watched a music video (2015) and I'm sharing the link. Its an emotional one and the creator used screenshots from S5 and 6 (and others). Its beautifully done. Yes, some of the screenshots we've seen many times but follow it till the end - its movingly tender. These two characters have made such an imprint on my heart. (feeling foolish but I'm owning it)

I had a thought while watching it that I was grateful that we have another season because if this was all they wrote (as shown so poignantly in the video), I'd be crying sloppy tears...sniff.

For those that haven't seen this, enjoy!!
https://vimeo.com/128110592 (I hope its okay to share - the link was posted at PWO).

Bring on Series 7 - this video was my refresher course!

Thank you for this, Sarah. Something that has been puzzling me for the past 2 years is where are the new music videos that usually come out after every season? There were plenty after Seasons 4 and 5, nothing after Season 6.

On the other hand, this also reminded me of the never-ending pain on M and L's faces last season. M never smiled much, but now L doesn't either. I have no words to express how much I miss the comedy.

Thanks for posting video link here Ms.Sarah. It was posted on the FB pages when it was made - so think about rejoining!

Very much on point - L is not ever smiling now. Hopefully whoever it was that took S6 into the dark places will now know they must bring them out into the light (and not make it all L's fault) to be able to continue a successful show. From the press pack info, I'm hopeful that they are taking it seriously.

I've often thought that the plot must advance in time significantly, given the visible change in their faces as the actors age, but watching this video - with those images of their faces so close together from long ago and from 2 years ago - makes me think it adds existential poignancy to Doc Martin the show. We all pass through time so quickly. I think it very interesting and a brave choice that they've kept them aging only 2,3 years in the plot, yet 13,14 yrs in real life (even if requiring suspension of belief but then - that's fiction for ya).
