What a pitiful pair we have had in the head to head today. I don't think either of them deserved to win through to the final round

Because the other three were worse that she was.

Nevertheless, with the help of 14 plus the double counter she went home with £3,400.

I got fed up today with the "Oh no another rider". They were all at it.

Why do contestants pass a question later appear to know the answer to? Don't they trust themselves?

John is into the final with just £900.

Another couple of thickos today.
"What is the element made of in a light bulb". Ans. Mercury.
"What was the name of Nelson's ship at the battle of trafalgar". Ans. The Cutty Sark.

Another failure in the trade. It cost Emily £3,500. You can only assume she's not short of cash.

The light bulb question even asked for the metal with the highest boiling point of any of the metals and as mercury is liquid at room temperature it is hardly likely to be that.

I don't how Ben keeps a straight face with some of the answers they come out with.

See this thread is still full of Masterminds who think they would clean up on shows like Tipping Point, I suspect most that criticize contestants on these shows have never been on a quiz show in their life, I wonder why.

Well he was hardly the sharpest tool in the box to begin with, even Ben pointed it out when he started going after the double counter in DZ4 after dropping the jackpot counter in DZ2

Ben : "So you might as well have dropped the jackpot counter in DZ4"

Contestant : "Oh yeah"

I can't recall a finalist dropping counters in three different zones before. I don't think this bloke knew how to play the game at all.

He dropped the jackpot counter into an almost empty zone two then dropped a counter from the first of his three in zone four. Crazy or what? His reason was "to get some money"

The OH said to me when they were introduced that the guy would win, and he was dumb with his choices
