As I said in my previous post, Ben doesn't allow or disallow anything. That is what the independent adjudicator is there for. Any case where it's close as to whether an answer was in time or not will be referred to the IA.
Do you think on The Chase, when the Chaser is closing in on the total, and they say their last answer just as they run out of time, that it's Bradley's decision whether the teams wins or not? No, it isn't. |

Utter rubbish. I've been on the show and in my second round I answered a question right on the buzzer. They then referred it to the adjudicator, who took what seemed an age before they decided I spoke before the buzzer and gave me the point.
Also, any dubious answers and the show stops for a decision to be made. Obviously this is all cut out or you'd see the show taking around 3-4 hours (which is what it takes to record) This has happened quite a few times on the early ones so dont you go BS me. Watch it yourself. |

Did anyone watch the one on W this morning?
Ben was so over the top screaming Shirley out in a load voice about 6 times when her counter dropped. I mean is he having a orgasm or something? When she won he didnt half hug her for ages. |

Everything about today's show was poor. Very poor timing of the counter drop and the lack of general knowledge made it a none event IMO.

That bloke was useless with his drops. I had to stop watching. |

It's a clever ploy to drop stupidly easy questions in. It often catches people out. In today's episode we've had someone say there's 45 minutes in quarter of an hour! He knew it was wrong but said it anyway.

Is it just me, or do some players show a complete lack of common sense when it comes to selecting the zone for the jackpot counter?!
Today was a classic example. Three of the four choices were fairly full on both top and bottom, so she picks drop zone 2 and then wonders why she has to use up two or three categories just to replenish the shelves. Added to this was the mystery prize hanging over the top shelf of zone 3. If she had selected this area she would undoubtedly have picked up both the mystery prize AND a whole heap of cash as well as being in with a far better chance of getting the jackpot back out. Sometimes the selection of final zone seems to have no rhyme nor reason to it. Anyone else agree? |

Although this episode was a repeat it seems that recent players are not big fans of the show and don't really know the game very well.
What I used to like about Tipping Point is they had a different type of contestant than evening quiz shows normally have. But that seemed to change last year. These days they seem like "career quizzers" who pop up on all of these types of shows. |

I can only assume that she thought it would be easier to get the jackpot counter over with fewer counters blocking the path. |

A poor head to head today. Almost every question passed to the other contestant and most answered incorrectly.

Is there any other kind?
I was rather pleased when Ben "proved" she would have won if she had gambled. If she hadn't talked so much and concentrated on playing the game better she may have gone home with more that £2050. |

Oh, it's the Bet Lynch lookalike again.
The young girl also has a Jodie Whittaker/Sarah Smart look about her too. |
