Did you notice Ben screwed his face when she said it was a hot sauce? I wonder if that is why she changed her mind.
Exactly what went through my mind! I didn't know the answer but as soon as I saw Ben's face I thought oops. He should keep a straight face

One of them today has already got £1900, and he's got two rounds to go yet.

Embarrassing stuff from Mal and Wade there.

Yes. Good win in the final. She played it right, going for one of the edges for her drop.

Did everyone hear me yell at the screen just then?
It was a question about Mary Queen of Scots. When the options came up, Stuart was spelled 'Stewart'. Maybe I'm getting old and tetchy but , that just shows how education standards have fallen.

I was too busy rolling eyes at his drop-timing. Hopeless. He got so many riders, including the jackpot counter, meaning he had no chance of the ten grand.

He's been doing the show long enough to know Rob was dropping the counters far too late. You would think contestants had watched the show on TV many times before they applied to go on it. The only way to avoid riders is to drop the counter while the shelf is still moving forwards so the counter is dragged flat. The majority of Rob's counters hit the shelf when it was on the way backwards. |

I think the ideal 'drop time' it when the shelf is moving backwards, just before it reaches it's hindmost point.

How do I find out what episode they are airing at the moment? I know its a repeat from what aired earlier in the year but I cant find a guide anywhere. I know the episodes arent on ITVplayer because of it being a repeat but would like to know when the series ends.

I was laughing again at yesterday's show - yet again, the winner was decided in the first 7 or 8 minutes due to winning a load of penalty pot counters on a stupidly easy film question.
Sure enough, £1000 quid racked up and way ahead. Game over. They really need to have each penalty counter have a question one at a time, but I guess the show would take too long then. But it's quite hilarious how unbalanced the mechanics of the show are. |

'Which fortress complex is the 'Tower' mentioned in the legend of the Princes in the Tower?'
'I don't know...' 'A guess' '...Alcatraz?' |

Sounds like you were as incredulous as me, Blueju. These two are not the brightest bulbs.
