I can recall seeing him when this first aired but could not remember how badly he did.
Likeable young guy though.
I think the guy, Scott, who got knocked out in the third round, thanks to his awful late releasing of the the counters, would have done better in the final in the last round than the young guy did. He only mustered £1500 in four rounds.

Poor finalist today
All the contestants were poor. Thank god that bloody irritating girl went out with the silly giggle.

The finalist today, Hilary, is a bit full of herself. She got to drop 5 counters in the third round and got next to nothing out. Her opponent got nothing out at all.

Probably one of the most annoying contestants you will ever see on a quiz show. You almost wish that she gambles and loses everything.

I agree with you. However she won the £10.000 with her last counter. Give her due, she answered the questions.

Today's finalist got the jackpot counter half way over the bottom shelf. He didn't gamble but Ben released the extra counters and he "won the jackpot".

Well, as he said, he's still got three thousand quid. Can use it to buy a pair.

She drove me round the bend Her question .. she say's I know the answer to that .. then looks at the other woman as if she was going to pass it over ???

Why do they do that.? A man did this the other week. Knew the answer and passed it over and the other bloke knew it as well so the first idiot lost out Why pass if they know the answer !!!!!

Why on earth did today's finalist drop the jackpot counter in section 2? Most of his counters scored nothing as the shelf was full of gaps. In addition to that his timing was awful.

I wish they would start airing series 5 instead of series 2 - 3 episodes.

The past couple days no one has had a chance at scoring with one contestant getting a high score in round 1. If it was me id just quit as there isnt a chance of winning.

Clever bloke today won the Jackpot with his last counter. I missed the first round but he never answered a question wrong throughout the final three rounds.

His timing of the drop deserted him a bit in the final round but the managed to win the £10K. Well done!

It seems to me the first round is little more than a lottery.

You only get three counters to put in the machine no matter how many questions you knew the answer to. Once you've used your three counters you're out the round and can't put any more in unless there's any in the penalty pot at the end.

Today after the first round after everybody had played their three counters the scores were £1100,£550,£150 and £0.

The bloke on £1100's basically got a bye to the final, there's no way he can go out in the next round. The bloke on £150's up against it,and he went out next.

If you don't get off to a good start in this, you're struggling.

Turns out that bloke didn't make the final but I know what you mean. If you can get a good drop with a double you're pretty much guaranteed to get to the final.
