I might buy it once or even twice but 3 times in a row where he makes it to the final round? C'mon people arent that gullible.

As for that other game that took place well I do have one thing to say

TAXI FOR TONY!

Cheeky little ******!”

If it was fixed the company making the programme would be risking immense fines from broadcasting standards, running into the hundreds of thousands. Far cheaper to play fair.

I really don't think it's rigged, but people love a good conspiracy.

I doubt it. Its not like its a phone in competition. If it really was fair more people would win but it seems a bit riggy when the player says they want it to go left and it ll always go right when they say then then Ben acts like hes constipated with these groans.

I don't know whether or not the game is rigged, however, I suspect it isn't. Why should it be?

The young lady yesterday was a bit OTT but she gambled at the end and won the Jackpot. Maybe if the game was rigged she wouldn't have won.

What I don't understand is when a competitor in the head to head round knows the answer to a question but gambles that the other contestant doesn't know the answer, but does, and they lose the opportunity to drop the counter. Why do they do it?

Are you talking about the blonde girl? I thought she took the trade and lost.

I have read on Digital Spy forums that Deal or No Deal is rigged, that The Chase is rigged, and now it's Tipping Point that's apparently rigged.

There has never been a shred of evidence to support any of this.

Has anybody who works on these shows and knows that they are rigged ever gone to the press about it? Can you imagine how big a story that would be? That ITV and Channel 4 were showing game shows that were rigged against the contestants so that they couldn't win? it would be tantamount to fraud. There could well be criminal trials and possible jail sentences.

Just look up "twenty one quiz show scandal" on Google, and see what happened in the 50s in America when a game show was discovered to be rigged. The story was well told in the film Quiz Show.

Tipping Point is not rigged.

Just caught this with last 2 players remaining and how on earth did Grace get through, the other girl was so unlucky with all those counters in drop zone 3 which failed to deliver.

Grace's general knowledge is pretty poor so whatever she wins she can consider herself very lucky.

She can buy a decent toilet with that amount.

So why do counters roll the wrong way when they say they want it going one way. Of course its rigged. The counters are probably magnetised too otherwise people would win on everyu day.

I thought she was stupid and a bit greedy as it wasnt one flat counter to win it. Nice girl but a pity she couldnt remember her spanish holiday and scooped the prize.

That's hardly evidence is it? This game is based on luck as the counter could go either way. Just because someone say they want the counter to go one way and it goes the other doesn't mean anyway, you're just reading too much in it.

Do you think the staff backstage are tilting the machine so it goes the other way? lol .

They're actually manipulated into position by trained spiders.

Yes,of course you're right,it's rigged,it's magnetised, just like the casinos in Las Vegas are full of bent roulette wheels with magnetised balls that the croupier can control and steer the ball away from the numbers that have been heavily bet, like in the films.

Look,if you really believe that,it's pointless arguing with you.

I like this quiz but Ben needs to lay off the oooohhhhingg and aaarrggghhhing every time a contestant answers a question.

Thanks for putting me right.

I had to go out just before the end and left the wife watching it, sort of. When I came home I asked her how it ended and she said she thought she'd gambled and won.

I don't think I'd gamble around £3,000 in the hope of winning another £7000.

She was very very unlucky though, the jackpot counter was hanging right over the edge but didn't drop.

It depends on how the machine is set up. Sometimes people refuse the gamble when a counter anywhere on the shelf would win the jackpot, usually it's less clear than that but it does very much depend.

A better risk would be to take the £2500 and bet £500 on Lotto and horses.

It's not worth the risk for merely £10k

I think his oooohhhhingg and aaarrggghhhing are the best bits - at least he pretends to give a toss.

I like how Tipping Point are never afraid to have on the most annoying contestants in quiz show history.

Carol & Fletch, either could do one of those icky CH4 reality shows and probably have done.
