Q: "On a graph, the vertical axis is named after which letter?"
A: "N" Why go on a quiz show if you lack BASIC maths knowledge?! |

Lawyer Kevindeep thought a slipped disc was in the hip and Bell's Palsy affected the arms! I hope he never does any medical cases!

Another £800 won with one drop in the first round thanks to the double counter. The round ended with that contestant almost £1000 more than the next one. Game over!
Once they get that lucky drop in the first round then they are home as they also have the big advantage of deciding when to go in the second round. |

I don't think I've ever seen such a shocking display of general knowledge!

She dropped one at the perfect time, then went right back to her awful timing!

I assume you mean the woman that's made the final. She's providing her own commentary on everything.

Just caught this with the last two players and I remember Dinieka being on The Chase last year although she looks different now, no glasses and not so much of a modern fashionable look.

The continuity announcer said "well that was hard to bare!" ![]() Quote:
Most annoying ever? Again? Didn't you say the bloke that was on only yesterday was the most annoying contestant you'd ever seen? And he's been beaten already?
I couldn't imagine her on Deal or No Deal. If she took out 1p she'd go completely BONKERS! I wouldn't want to see her reaction to winning £250k either.

That guy was obviously cheated yesterday. I heard he said Iphone but Ben said he cant accept the word phone and even if he did say phone thats obvious what he meant otherwise he wouldnt have said it.

Another woeful display of general knowledge tonight. In the semi final I think every question was passed, some were guessed correctly others weren't. One contestant's counter drop timing was awful. Her excuse was she was forgetting to press the button.
Eg: In ancient Greece what was a Trireme? Winners answer, A river

The thing about Tipping point is it's not a difficult quiz. Even if you don't know the answer, if there's an obviously guessable choice, that will always certainly be right.
Flying insect called a Queen of Spain Fritillary? I'd never heard of it, but realistically how many choices are there? It sounds like a butterfly, so it probably is. And it was. French Saint and heroine? It's Joan of Arc. Who else could it be? How many French heroines are well enough known by the British public? One. "Survival of the fittest"? It's Charles Darwin. Who else is it going to be? It's not going to be Alfred Russell Wallace, because as I said, this is Tipping Point, not Mastermind. I don't think any of those questions was remotely difficult to work out, even if you didn't know them. Yet all three were passed to the other player. |

William "The Tumble Dryer" Perry. I love it.
This woman really isn't very good. The Waterloo question comes up. The answer's Germany (ie Prussia), It's always funny when you're watching it and they immediately rule out the one you know is the right answer. And yet she's ended up winning the ten thousand pounds. |

I agree but she still managed, somehow, to win the Jackpot. Well done Anne.
Which doesn't exactly boost the argument of people on this thread who say the machine is fixed. |
