Agree with you all. What a bunch of idiots

Tracey should not have got the question photogenic right (I think that is what she said) As Photo + Graphy does not make that answer

None of them knew when to drop the counter so it didn't ride.

I need to stop watching this for the sake of my blood pressure
From memory I think she said "photographic" - I'm not sure, but I don't think it was "photogenic".

You're right. I knew it ended in 'ic'. Even Ben said it was photography so do not understand how he accepted it. But then we all know that the rules are made up as they go along

If she said photographic then I think that was a close enough answer for photo + graphein. I actually thought she said photography with the accent on the third syllable instead of the second (building up the word from the two parts).

Agreed it was ridiculously greedy to go for the trade. The odds against winning with that set up were huge.

Vivienne looks like she's played this game before.

She's very knowledgeable. Makes a refreshing change for this show. She has a good chance of winning the 10 grand. She got 7 questions correct in the 2nd round. Is that a record?

Surely the counter must drop with the next fall.

You can tell when they'll risk it by how many minutes from 5pm it is.

Well done Vivienne. She traded and won the Jackpot.

That's the best I've seen someone play this game for ages.

That'll be the hardest £10,000 she has ever won!

She actually dropped the counters at the right point. No need for her to complain of "bad luck" at getting riders.

Must have played a canny game in the auditions to fall below the dimwit threshold that normally gets people on to this show. And, she is a teacher!

Indeed. I only turnnd on with about five minutes to go, but her drops during that time were impeccably timed.

Did I just hear Ben telling Martha she had a couple of danglers?

I think we may get a record number of riders from today's contestants. Their timing is woeful.

Tonight's finalist has had three questions so far for just 2 counters.Does he want a chance of winning the jackpot or what?

I can't see the point in ever going for two counters, there doesn't seem to be any real difference in the difficulty of the questions

He works in the travel industry and he doesn't know where Zante is? Is this in HD? It seems quite blurred.

Same as with Eggheads when we might possibly be rooting for the challengers to win the money, but the clock on our kitchen wall tells us that there's just not enough time remaining for another sudden death question!

And that was his best subject!

I remember back in the day when some chose just 1 counter to answer a question

It's broadcast both in HD and standard definition .. we've sometimes got half way through and realised that we're on 3 when we should have been on 103 (Freeview).

In HD you can see every hair, skin blemish and wrinkle .. it can be gross at times!

Not today. I had to double check that I was on HD and I was but it was still quite blurred. Especially the graphics in the background which were very blurred.
