And that's why the x2 counter is a good thing!

Didn't he do well. Goes home with £10,000 with two questions to spare.

Third round question, If a male giraffe is called a bull, what is a female giraffe called. The contestant who goes into the final passed the question and the girl simply said cow. And she was right.

I don't have too much hope he will win much.

He went for a two counter question first and got it wrong. He got a one counter question right next. Third question wrong. Three counters with the fourth question. Two counter question for the fifth, got it right. One drop a rider. Final question for three counters, got it wrong.

After six questions he added £500 to his total. Woeful.

I thought Molly had committed Tipping Point suicide then. She passed on the last but one question and then got her last question wrong. The question was, The MP Stephen Kinnock is the son of which former Labour leader, answer - Tony Blair????

If she hadn't won the two penalty pot questions she'd be on the way home.

Molly should make Dumb Britain for her answer to the Stephen Kinnock Q. Easy on the eye and good drop timing, but her knowledge was really patchy.

I think Teresa is going to go for the gamble.

It's because it's only 4:53pm

Edit: so I'm wrong!

Teresa's timing went to pot in the last round. That coupled with the poor jackpot counter position ruined her chances of winning the £10K.

She was the best of the four contestants and deserved her £2850. Probably would have got more with better timing

John, on the verge of getting nothing won £1400 with a double counter with a penalty question on the last drop of the first round. Probably, he will go on to the final now.

Given that she couldn't get 'Renaissance', I have little hope.

£1400 in the first round, John got another £750 in the next two rounds to enter the final.

I felt sorry for Robyn.

That's what you get for spot on timing. Well done John, enjoy the £10K.

So Ben was Casual Ben today, not so long ago he was wearing a double-breasted dark suit for "work".

And this space alien lady was to mark the return of the X-Files on CH5 tonight?
