Very often on Tipping Point the best contestant doesn't win in fact it's more usual for the best contestant to not win. Winning a game in which chance plays the major part over quizzing does not "prove" she was the best contestant. (I didn't watch the show before the final round to know if the others were worse but certainly her general knowledge was poor in the final round).
They've re-jigged the machine so zone 1 has become the new zone 4, get the big counter hard left and you are almost guaranteed a win whereas the hard right in zone 4 no longer works the same.
