The guy who went out in the second round when asked which degree rhyming slang is a Geoff Hurst said a third!

Ben is a yard faster across the studio floor when it's a young blonde.

This must be a repeat even though it's listed as a new episode.

He's had about 6 or 7 hugs already.

Well done Jennie. She took the trade and won the £10K on her last counter drop. Her timing was perfect too.

I have lost the will to live

Timing was good and that won her the jackpot but how on earth did she get that far..as far as I can recall, she answered 3 right in the first round (and lets face it, that aint difficult), passed all in the 2nd except for the weakest link, got none at all in the 3rd and guessed every one in the final.

Well with respect, she didnt. She knew sod all but was lucky because the dimwits on the show with her, knew even less (or more likely, had very poor drop timing). I'll call her lucky bimbo

People on here can be a bit harsh on the contestants, you ever wonder maybe being on tv might make some people nervous or their minds might just go blank as it happens time to time? Good on her for trading though, a lot of people probably wouldn't have.

One thing that does annoy me is Ben, when someone answer a question correctly before he reads it out, he then goes back and read out the question in full afterwards, just seems like a waste of time.

Why do you think that?

It's because the Tipping Point audience needs to know what the full question was, because a lot of them couldn't work it out for themselves.

(Present company excepted of course! )

Bimbo? I thought she was absolutely lovely, and I was delighted when she gambled and won.

I agree with that.

I only saw the final session as I was out. It was obvious that the earlier rounds were poor as Jennie only had around £1,600 in the bank when the final round started. I didn't expect her to gamble her relatively small total of just over £2,000 as she's said she had UNI costs. However, she gambled and won. Good for her, I was pleased for her. It was her excellent timing of the drop that won it for her. Other contestants should take note.

The questions are only easy if you know the answer.

But the questions are SO easy (especially in the early rounds) it's terrifying to imagine people don't know the answers. And many don't. "Before my time" is trotted out again and again. And the guy in this edition who said that the Backstreet Boys released were a duo who released the 1960s album 'Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme' and thought Neil Armstrong was part of the Challenger mission was unbelieavble. I genuinely wonder how many of them get homef rfom the studios after filming.

I've never understood the "before my time" excuse. I wasn't too sure about the Neil Armstrong question. But if I had to answer, I would have said either Apollo 11 or 13. As for the 1960s album - not a huge fan of 1960s music. I know it's not The Beatles and would have maybe guessed at something like Beach Boys or similar.
