They're obviously told to do so, in the same way they're told to comment while waiting for their counter to drop.
I agree with this poster, and Ben definitely asks them to comment while waiting for their counter to drop

I've been on the show....and they don't tell you to do anything like that. Hence my previous post.

It's nice to hear from someone who has actually been on the show to confirm what really goes on, rather than some people who just make assumptions about what goes on in the show.

'Which famous London landmark is surrounded by four monumental bronze lions, designed by Sir Edward Landseer?'

Idiot one - 'Buckingham Palace?'
Idiot two - 'Admiralty Arch?'

It was good to see the lucky 'x2' person get overhauled.

So why do we hear Ben asking 'what do you think?' when they are waiting for the counter to drop?

That was a bad decision to go for the trade. There was only one counter behind the jackpot and it was on the side of it.

She threw the money away, timing was way too late and hence all the riders. Silly woman should have stuck with what she had.

Well, you've got Eamonn. There's enough of him to go round.

Not sure if the counter is close enough to the edge.

Oh wow that counter just dropped at the last second. Great win.

Wow not many as close as that. The last counter wasn't hard left, it was middle and nudged a lateral counter just in time to fall and nudge the star.

Couldn't get any luckier than that! The timing of that silver counter!

I don't think I would have taken the trade given the position of the jackpot counter but Eamonn did and he was rewarded with £10K. Fortune favours the bold.

Well done him!

Good grief, how useless was Angela?! She started off great by putting the jackpot counter in Drop Zone 1 but then for some reason she decides to put 5 counters into DZ2 and then she wastes the last one in DZ3!

I thinks today's finalist, Angela, would have done better to have talked less and think about what she was doing. She was all over the place jumping between drop zones 1 & 2. She completely messed it up.

Absolutely. She kept calling her chaotic decision making "my tactics" as if she was doing something particularly cunning instead of giving an object lesson in how to waste her opportunity to earn ten grand.
