Compare that to somebody who's won, say, £3,000. They're getting only a little over two to one. Because the jackpot is a fixed amount, the more you've won, the more you stand to lose, and the less you actually win if you take the trade.
Given where the jackpot counter was today, getting four to one my money, I would have gone for it without question. It's likely that just one in the right place would have sent it over, and with three goes at it, it's hard to believe you could be worse than Evens to get it out. Even if each counter has only a 20% chance of success, this still works out at about a 50% chance if you've got three goes at it. Being offered four to one, it's just too big to pass up.”
If all three counters drop badly, the odds are actually longer than that. I've noticed that counters in the outside sectors more often than not gravitate to the outside .. make a note next time and see if I'm right.

How lucky was Amy? All three questions wrong and then she won 5 counters in the penalty pot and went on to win £650. I can't see her getting much further.
In the film, Seven brides for how many Brothers, answer - Pass.”
Q. Which seed head of a yellow weed is frequently referred to as a clock?
A. Daffodil!
The girl's an 18-year old student, therefore presumably educated to a certain level. Did she never as a kid sit out on a patch of grass in the summer, lazily pick a dandelion seed head and 'see what time it was' by puffing away at the feathery seeds? Surely everyone does that as a child .. what
was she thinking? To say nothing of the fact that a daffodil is definitely not a weed!
So often the level of general knowledge exhibited by younger people is frankly laughable.
