Could be the biggest win ever....if he doesn't win £10k. Especially if he takes 2 counter questions.

£4,950 was the biggest non-jackpot win if I recall. So close to £5k!

Is this guy really a doctor? I feel sorry for his patients.
Embarrassing if he is a doctor.

Such a difficult question about gristle - not, questions for school kids.

As for the other quarter wit in the final, why bother.

If he had used drop zone 4 there was another double in there so he easily have topped £5k.

Loved how the first contestant decided to launch into an anecdote about how he knew the answer to 'How many rails does a monorail have?' and took so long he was out of time to give the actual answer.

Absolute prat.

I love it how whenever a contestant says they are good at something they then get the question wrong - like today's character who was "good at chemistry" but despite the pretty obvious clue said the chemical symbol Hg stood for hydrogen.

And the less said about his Disney Duck answer the better

Some of them are reasonable, but many would make the naff prizes in 80s/90s gameshows look decent! I do wonder how many of these prizes actually get used?

And that was an interesting way to win...

I agree, but when you go for a quiz show nowadays, you are told to act almost theatrically.

She should take the trade now with the counter being so close to the edge. I can't believe she didn't take the trade. Silly girl.

You're right. Amazing that someone doing a higher degree can make such poor choices.

She topped it off by declining the trade, where there was a vast area to land the counter in and hence nudge the hanging jackpot counter.

4 in the penalty pot. That was such an abysmal display of general knowledge!
