Loved that ep, but jeez, Zoe - how could you not tell poor Dylan? How could you do that to poor Max? </3 That scene at the airport was sad - I'm really going to miss them together. I get why Zoe made the clean break, but that was really sad. I hate seeing Max sad.
New doc looks like she's going to be good! Max should go to Michigan. |

Was anyone watching tonight? I know Britain's Got Talent has been crushing Casualty and the hot weather won't have helped much...
A decent send-off for Zoe. The Shell / Vince / Mercedes nonsense was an unnecessary distraction - as was the initial flicking between past and present that is fast becoming an unoriginal trope of the show. Otherwise, some very nice farewell scenes between Zoe and Charlie, Zoe and Max and, my favourite, Zoe and Dylan. William Beck is so fantastic as Dylan - the real saving grace of Casualty in its current guise - and to see Dylan hug Zoe was a real highlight. Few words said but the characterisation was spot on. So is that Sunetra Sarker done with as far as Casualty is concerned? There have been mixed messages. I suspect any return now will be a fleeting one rather like Maggie's Skype appearance chatting to Zoe a while ago. I am liking what we've seen of Elle Gardener so far. A good understated performance from Jaye Griffiths. I did like the way the doctor-having-a-fag-break baton has now been passed from Zoe to Elle - it was a nice touch. What with the new nurse, David Hide, Casualty seems to have acquired two good actors and created good characters for them. Not often you can say that these days. |

It's a shame to see Zoe leave. Her hug with Dylan was lovely.
I enjoyed her last episode. I felt sorry for Max. I like Elle. |

So sad tonight, will so miss Zoe but I did want her and Max be together I never minded Robyn but tonight she was hideous, putting ideas into their heads and so judgemental to the 'lovers' who were having an affair that is just not her place, she has to change that what an awful person.

Robyn is so self righteous so annoying glad the woman out her in her place.
I am disappointed that Max and Zoe didn't get a fairy tale ending but I suppose that makes a change from the usual happy ending we would expect. Zoe has been a great character she will be missed. |

Robyn was dreadful this episode. I know Holby isn't exactly realistic but is there really any way a nurse could get away with the way she behaves?
Going to miss Zoe, and Max and Dylan as well . On the plus side they seem to have done really well with the new nurse and doctor. Both of them seem to have potential, and are watchable as well.

I laughed a lot tonight - Dylan had some brilliant lines.
It's a shame that Zoe's gone but I'm glad we still have Max. |

Not really sure what to make of that one. It didn’t quite seem to know where to end or how to end, and starting in the middle didn’t help. We seemed to get about four different endings to Zoe and Max’s story, so that by the end I was expecting them to flip again at some point, especially since there was still about five minutes left. The stabbing was apparently not as bad as originally implied, but I still kept expecting her to suddenly keel over. There were some nice farewells with Dylan and Charlie, and Charlie challenging Connie was also nice.
Despite her getting a lot of screentime, I still don’t really feel like I know Elle. Even though he was filling his usual antagonist role, Henrik did seem more like his Holby City character than in some of his Casualty appearances and had some good repartee with Connie (“Do you have change?”). Instructive that despite their declarations last week Iain was still dodging Rita’s calls. So Tess, Dixie and Zoe all gone in a fairly short space of time, leaving Charlie, Mac and Noel as the old-timers and…does that make Robyn the longest serving female? |

Robyn the longest serving female? What have we done to deserve that? Awful character played like a child.

I spent 30 years as a nurse and have never met any nurse as bad as Robyn.
Her habit of talking of personal details whilst treating a patient is dreadful. She is the most terrible gossip, has no idea of discretion re patients medical or personal details. I know it's not real, but if it was, she would be in serious trouble and I'm sure have very few friends because no one would tell her ANYTHING, they would know she cannot keep any thing to herself. Get rid of her Casualty, she spoils the programme. |

Nice exit for Zoe even though she left Max. Had she definitely left as Sunetras Twitter seems so indicate differently.
Liking Ellie so far. |

Those three together can make it something seriously good. Plus there's the return of D***y and A****a M****e to come |

It did a few days ago but Sunetra Sarker's Twitter posts tonight definitely seem to indicate that was the last we'll see of Zoe.

I've also just realised that Charlie is now the last character from the Harry Harper era who's still around.
