Oh yes, so she has. I should have checked that.

Wasn't Mac there at the same time as Harry?

Yes, at the tail-end. Mac was there from November 2007; Harry departed in the spring of 2008.

I honestly had no idea Jamie Davis was 35! I honestly thought he was early 20s. He looks damn good.

I love Zoe BUT I think what she did with Max was cruel.
I'm not talking about the final scene, but the fact that she spent the night, making love (rather than just sex) and having fun. Then the following morning, drops a bombshell that she's leaving that same day.
Considering she knows how much she hurt him in the past!!!
Of course that wasn't Zoe's choice (I don't believe the Zoe I've come to love would be cruel twice) but those darn script writers !!!

It's not helped, I think, that Casualty writes for characters like Max and Robyn as if they are irresponsible big kids. Yes, they have glimmers of scenes where they do demonstrate some maturity, but overall, these characters, for me at least, contribute to the sense that the staff treat the ED like it's some kind of playground.

I can't see Sarker coming back full time, certainly not for the foreseeable. As I said before, I could expect a cameo in the form of one of the characters Skyping her, rather like Maggie sent Zoe a video message a while ago. Perhaps they'll do this if ever Dylan leaves (perish the thought) or Max leaves, with Zoe tempting them over to the US.

When actors leave a regular role, I don't care if they return or not even if I love their character. Once they have left, after some time, you get used to them not being around. Every character will eventually leave.

I agree with others, Robyn is annoying.

I can't believe Zoe has gone she was my favourite character, Sunetra is brilliant, really going to miss her. And poor Max.

Goodbye Zoe. I wish Sunetra Sarker well in her future endeavours but I can't say I will miss Zoe.

I'm liking the new consultant, Elle. She has a connection with Hanssen. I don't think he trusts Connie anymore.

I will miss Zoe, she and Dylan were my favourite characters.

The new doctor looks promising, though. And blessedly, no Jacob.

How annoying was Robyn, though!! Judgemental madam.

I'm soooooooo gutted Zoe has left Casualty. One of my all time favourites so I'm gutted to see her go.

Also I've seen a few things on twitter recently...

Spoiler
from Chelsea Halfpenny - who played Alicia, which allude to the fact she's in Cardiff, maybe living and working on Casualty? Also the other day she retweeted pics of herself and Amanda Henderson who plays Robyn.

"Chelsea Halfpenny ‏@ChelseaHP Apr 30
Just had some amazing lunch at @AnnaLokacafebar in Cardiff! Really lovely service too! Thanks Adam!"

"@ChelseaHP Apr 21
Where can I buy a nice bike with a basket in/near Cardiff?"

Maybe I've totally missed out on news and its already been announced that Alicia is returning but if not then maybe these tweets are a sign that she's going to be back soon?? Either way Chelsea is/has been in Cardiff recently, I'm hoping its Casualty related at least as I loved Alicia from what we saw of her."

Put in spoilers as I didn't know whether there has been any official information.

I remember him in Footballer's Wives 12 years ago looking pretty much the same that he does now!

The more I think about Zoe and Max, the more I believe that the writers have made a mistake with them; they should, IMO, have gone to Michigan together and it should have been planned beforehand.

Jamie probably didn't want to leave yet, but I agree.

I wonder if Max will go in the summer to Michigan to join Zoe, as Jamie wife is due to give birth and he will have some time off...

Ah, gutted about Zoe! She was my favourite. Also gutted that her and Max didn't get a happy ending, they deserved one. Best couple on there since Ruth and Jay in terms of chemistry.

Hope this doesn't lead to Max being a background character again, from the small amount of big emotional scenes he's had, Jamie Davis excels. He's brilliant and underrated, hope he still gets a decent story now and again.

She did a Q&A on twitter and when asked if she would return she said not for the foreseeable future as she had only just left.

She certainly kept everyone guessing about her departure as she questioned where it came from when first mentioned on twitter. Not sure if that was her idea or the writers etc

Dervla has also been in the show longer than Robyn, although with a break in the middle of her run

Saturday 21st May Spoilers

Spoiler
Dylan receives a nasty surprise when Bryan turns up at the ED, having cut his hand smashing a window after locking baby Rihanna in his car. While Bryan apologises for his past behaviour, Dylan is not so sure he can ever change.

Connie discovers Jacob and Elle are old friends, and the pair are given a chance to catch up while dealing with injuries at the scene of a factory accident. However, when Elle starts asking strange, probing questions about the status quo at Holby, it becomes apparent there is an ulterior motive behind her recent arrival.

Meanwhile, Charlie encourages David to be more confident.
