It is the same actor that plays Duff and Wyn, he's also in Gwlad yr Astra Gwyn which is hilarious. He's called Dewi Rhys.

That's right - he's a great actor. The Jones family really were brilliant when all 4 of them were around. I remember Dyff being killed off rather suddenly though. The actor wasn't even featured - just a stand-in at a distance. I've always wondered if something happened behind the scenes for them to just suddenly axe such a well loved character.

I think the problem this week is fhat the Mark storyline is just a bit silly.
While Mike's cancer story is really heartwrenching, think the writers tried to get a good balance but failed.

It`s also my pooch Dixie`s Birthday today too. She is 3 - which is 21 in human years

I hope after this week we get some more information on what happened when Gemma was small to make things go so wrong. Where were Ed and Andrew parents? Why was Ed raising Gemma alone when he was so young? The explanation we've gotten so far about Angela and the affair doesn't seem to account for any of these problems Gemma has.

The subtitles are all screwed up in the second half. No subtitles for about two minutes, then the subtitles are delayed.
I tried going to iPlayer, but there are no subtitles at all in that episode.
I`m really annoyed. Pull your fingers out Clic and iPlayer FGS

Strange! Clic is usually rock solid, but BBC iPlayer is woeful for PYC.

You should tweet them and comment on Facebook about the subtitles. They promised Clic and iPlayer would be a good option after getting rid of the omnibus. There have been too many mistakes lately.

That's 2 weeks running S4C have cut a short scene and forgotten to adjust the subtitles accordingly!

I just sent Clic a message about the bolloxed up subtitles.
I said ...the most important episode of the year, and i`m unable to watch it because the subtitles are so messed up.

Have just tried to watch it myself. Absolutely shocking. How is this allowed?

I just noticed that PYC isn`t featured in the spoilers section. I`m not sure if it`s just an oversight or not. I also noticed that there aren`t any spoilers for Doctors or Holby City either....haven`t checked the rest.
For quite a while now I haven`t been able to click on spoiler links...I have to right click it to open up another tab. It`s a pain in the ar$e aye

I know, no subtitles on the 40th anniversary episode and still not fixed as of a few minutes ago. I just commented on PYC's Facebook page about the situation, sometimes they respond to comments.

You have me worried now! We watch the 6pm repeat (with in-vision subtitles) - I wonder whether yjey'll have fixed that?

I tweeted S4C about this last night. This is the response I've just had from them:

"Hi Chloe. Our web team are aware of the problem with last night's episode on Clic and are working to rectify the problem."
