But when the truth is revealed, Sheryl is shaken to the core.

Anita has also organised visitors for Meic. Darren, Katie and the kids are coming home for Christmas – but Darren is shocked when Gabriela introduces herself as his big sister!

Meic is angry with Anita for inviting Darren, and feels he’s being forced to reveal the truth. But the bad feeling doesn’t last long when Meic learns of Anita’s plans for his birthday.

As Garry tries to come to terms with losing Dani, he and Gwyneth become close. After receiving an invitation to spend Christmas with Gwyneth and Gwern, Garry kisses Gwyneth. She steps away but is quite pleased with the developments following Dani’s departure.

Jan 15th: As his health deteriorates, Meic tells Anita he won't be going home. Britt is infuriated when she learns of Garry and Dani's private wedding....

Britt isn't the only one infuriated. Would it have hurt to let the loyal viewers see the wedding? The handbag story is utterly pointless.

Jan 16th: Ffion and Gethin get intimate and Jinx nearly catches them. Sheryl is hurt by Hywel's fixation on Gaynor's supposed affair.

I hope the Ffion and Gethin thing finally brings some old issues to the surface.

the Moc storyline?

Gethin has been talking more about Moc. I meant how Ffion tricked Jinx into being Arwen's father. Gethin is very similar to Macs isn't he. I think Gethin is a slightly better person but ever so slightly.

Jinx was duped by Ffion and I think his past history with Macs kept him from seeing the truth. I have never believed that sleeping with Macs was anything other than consensual. Look at the people she's been with Scott, Garry, Hwyel, and so forth. Macs is the type of person Ffion would be attracted to.

I don't think Ffion is certain Macs is Arwen's father. I think she never bothered to challenge that because she knew that Macs would be unlikely to ever get custody. Also although she claims she is upset that Macs abandoned his kid, she never wanted him in her life. Now that Jinx will see Ffion with someone like Gethin he may rethink what happened in the past.

I don't think Gethin could ever be as nasty as Macs could be, but I understand what you mean. If Gethin and Ffion do get together, it would be interesting to see how Gethin gets on with Arwen considering what he said about how his relationship with Daniel struggled due to what Moc did to him.

No I don't think Gethin is as bad as Macs but he's similar in many ways. He's also abandoned a child like Macs which is interesting because Jinx has never officially adopted Arwen. He certainly could have gotten legal consent- but he never attempted to. Ffion deciding to be with Gethin could open up a whole can of worms. It certainly would leave room for Macs to seek some sort of custody. We know from last year's Christmas episode he was interested in Arwen. My impression was Macs knew he was too messed up to challenge Jinx for custody and that's why he acted disinterested. Gethin and Ffion completely different story neither of them is as stable as Jinx atm.

Yeh Macs was so messed up at that point. I'd love to see him return at some point, even if it's just to conclude his very rushed exit and Christmas last year. I agree that Gethin is similar to Macs.

Add me as another who is annoyed about being left out of another wedding. Would it have killed them to have just one scene?
I am livid about Hywel. What a hypocrite he is. He`s furious about Gaynor possibly sleeping around, yet he`s having an affair with Sheryl.

We may not miss the wedding. They haven't done it yet. There may be scenes dedicated to them eloping which just hasn't been mentioned in the spoilers
