You probably like Ffion and Jinx, I am not a big fan. I think Ffion really did just deceive him and Jinx just let it go because the biological father turned out (maybe) to be Macs. I don't think it would have worked out that way if the original storyline with Hwyel being the father was true. I don't know I think its best for them to break up.

I`m not really a big fan of Ffion and Jinx as a couple, but I do like Jinx - I always have. I was disappointed at first that they didn`t get married, but now I`m glad they didn`t. This whole cousins marrying thing made me a bit uncomfortable. They should have split up as soon as Jinx`s Taid announced it a few years ago.
Kelly would be much better for Jinx than Ffion. Kelly seems more outgoing and doesn`t treat Jinx like a lodger and baby sitter for Arwen. I don`t like the way Kelly talks to Ffion though...or talks about her behind her back.
The jury is still out on how I feel about Ffion and Gethin as a couple. I don`t know how old Gethin is supposed to be, but he seems a lot younger than Ffion.

I'm 8 eps behind - just watching the Ffion and Gethin scenes with writing the statement - I really like them as a couple (if that's where it's going).

Hiya Wavlor, the ages of Gethin and Ffion they are both in their 30's as characters. I remember when Gethin was in the hit and run they said he was 29 so he must be 31 now and Ffion on her last birthday was either 37 or 38. Gethin is actually older than Jinx. So 6 year gap in ages makes a very believable couple.

As for Ffion and Jinx I just don't think their storyline was supposed to be played the way it ended up. It isn't illegal to be with your first cousin and I can't imagine the current cast of characters judging them for that. Jim is married to his mother-in law, and Meic was in a relationship with his son's wife. I think Ffion's and Jinx's fathers were supposed to come into that storyline.

As far as baby Arwen there just is nothing that would prevent Jinx from adopting Arwen- no one would object or question paternity. Not that it makes sense no one would question paternity or object, but they are stuck with that because Rhys Bidder isn't coming back and they won't recast the role. So all in all Jinx and Ffion should have gotten married, adopted Arwen had their baby a year ago and gone on to happy ever after land. They tried writing the couple as if there was still something to write about after they botched their storyline but it didn't work imo.

I do to, I absolutely believe that Gethin is in love with Ffion and there is a chemistry there. They are better suited then Jinx and Ffion.

Yes, that's him. The pacing is off with that long break between when we last saw him and now. The pacing is off with Gemma's storyline as well. What's up with stopping storylines for months?

I can't believe Gemma is back. I thought the show finally ended that. Or maybe I hoped they did. Never liked her.

They may not have dropped the OCD storyline so much has stopped it for 3 months. Its a continuity issue that effects all the storylines. The writers don't do endings to storylines. Whether William sticks around will have to do with whether or not they can pay him to be more than a recurring character. Given the current state of financial health it remains to be seen if any of the new characters are around in a few months. The only permanent addition to the cast in 2014 was DJ.

Quick question after tonight's episodes - is the doctor looking after Meic meant to be the same one Anita and Diane were flirting with a few months back? I find it strange that they introduced that doctor character and then he vanished... But I can't remember his name so I'm guessing this is the same character re-cast? And I wonder if his and Anita's initial flirting will be going somewhere during this storyline? It seemed to be tonight.

You mean Hari? No its not the same character. Hari isn't a doctor he's a palliative care nurse who takes care of the dying. I didn't pick up any flirting Hari came early to his appointment because the patient that had the appointment prior had died. The part about the patient canceling was just a euphemism.

Anthony, William is back in tonight's second episode, he's a police office now. This is probably a good thing as Gemma likely has murdered her father. They might need the police.

Oh thanks for letting me know. I'll have to tune in. So William has gone from being a teacher working for a homeless shelter to a cop in less than a year? Interesting. Though maybe if he's a cop, he's going to be used in current/future story beyond any romance with Iolo.

I think you hit on why he's now a cop. Think he'll catch on to Sion's theft from the chapel. Iolo would go bonkers if his boyfriend arrests his dad.

IIRC, the show said several times that Iolo's OCD was most likely caused by a childhood trauma.
