good to see lolo and william back together

Anthony, William and Iolo are on tonight and back together. Sion is stirring the pot. The level of dysfunction in this episode is astounding. William has figured out that Iolo's problem is Sion.

You wanted theory's on why Gethin cares about Iolo and William. I think it is going to be Sion's doing. Tonight Gethin was angry and annoyed even before Iolo and William got back together. I think that's just about his own failed love life. Sion is going to use that to get Gethin to stir the pot, because Brit doesn't want Sion to go over to bother Iolo anymore. She threatened to leave him last week. Sion probably is going to talk to Gethin about the hit and run and Moc etc. because he can't do his own dirty work.

Otherwise I found the whole storyline where Ed defended running over Sioned with a car to prevent her from being with Garry disturbing. Is there some line of thinking that running a women over is ever ok?

Yeah, I am starting to get really interested in this. I'm glad a soap has found something different to do as instead all the cheating and affairs. I can see this storyline really taking off.

Am I the only one who finds Jinx and Ffion so boring now?

Nah I thought that for a year. God did they ever screw their storyline up. Breaking them up is the only way to put some life back into those characters.

Yeh I don't know what it was, but for me they suddenly went from likeable to really boring and characters that I don't care about. It's a shame.

It happened when the changed the storyline from Hwyel being Arwen's father to Macs. It never made sense and I think ruined the whole dynamic of the storyline.

Yeh it seemed like they threw all the bad stuff at Macs because he was leaving. I hate what they did to him as a character. I know I didn't watch when he was being really bad (pre-Sioned) but for a good year after the rape storyline he seemed like a character that could be re-sculptured into a nicer version of himself...if the producers wanted to. It seems like Gethin has been given Macs' plans a bit.

Also, what is going on with Sion and Britt I can't believe they're still married to be honest! Is it just me or has the last year completed changed their dynamic?

I think Sion and Britt are just at each other all the time. Of course Sion isn't the man she married, the one who loved his family. Now we have the version of Sion who's driven a couple of his sons mad, who considered having an affair with the murderer of his brother-in-law and who steals from the chapel.

I also think Gethin has been given Macs' role. He and Iolo have a love hate sibling dynamic now.

Does anyone else think that Iolo's childhood trauma that was hinted at will be brought up again? Seems like that's where they could be headed.

Just a thought is it a coincidence that Sion is deliberately trying to stir up Iolo's OCD. Is he connected to why Iolo has it in the first place? Or do you think it came about because of the hit and run?

I'm not sure what Sion's motives are really.

I didn't watch the show for a couple of months when Iolo's OCD started - surely there weren't any hints to him having the condition before that? All I remember about the aftermath of the hit and run was how scared Iolo was.

There was this scene with Iolo and Gethin were discussing the OCD and Iolo was trying to explain it. Iolo said something about the OCD being something he always had. Then there was a line like: it all started when but that doesn't make sense. Then the show dropped it.

Does Sion want Iolo to still be a child? I often get the feeling that he does. There was a bunch of stuff tonight where Iolo was explaining that he was not a child and he can make his own decisions without his father. If I were William I would be creeped out by that.

I think if I see anymore of Britt and Sion next week I scream

I'm glad that they are back together, but it would have been nice to have seen the scene where hashed things out. We've should have seen that.

Sion and Britt are really horrible together. I don't know why they stay married. That thing about Diane's specials was stupid.

Re: Sion and Britt. I need more at this point then a break up because of irreconcilable differences and Megan scolding Sion about the chapel. I've been watching this storyline now for 2 years, so I expect that they are going to do something big when the truth of Sion's behavior comes out.

This is a mistake the writers make they don't end things properly. Its how Jinx and Ffion became so dull they built up a huge storyline around them and then let it fizzle out with no resolution.

Just on Tuesday's episode - why on earth would Megan employ APD to clean the shop? It's a charity so surely she needs to save as much money as she can??
