Really? You think Ffion's storyline is boring but the rest of the storylines are interesting?

Ffion is an alcoholic so its totally in character and she and Gethin have split so looks its two separate storylines now. These are actual problems people have that aren't resolved in 3 weeks.
Too many storylines on PYC are short and have anti-climatic sentimental endings. How about Garry's attempted murder that wasn't, or what happened to Andrew etc. I think this is one of the few storylines I can see that won't just magically be resolved all bygones forgotten and status quo resumed.

I wonder how far in advance PYC is filmed? I think I remember seeing something on her agent's website a long time ago when the new Chester was introduced. That had to be in April or May. I wonder what else has been filmed that we've not seen.
Also the actress is 29. Isn't Vicki supposed to be much younger than that? I remember Vicki visiting her mother a few years back and she was in school. I know they always cast a bit older but 10 years older than the character you're playing?

I haven't watched in awhile, just following the thread here and nothing seems interesting. Have there been any Iolo and/William sightings? They're never in the spoilers, just wondering what they are up to, if anything.

No they haven't been seen at all. Colin said they were on holiday in London. I think Dyfan must have actually taken a holiday because Iolo hasn't even been in crowd shot in weeks. The actress who plays Gwyneth must also have taken some time off because same with her she hasn't even been in a street scene. We must be watching stuff filmed in July.
No nothing is very interesting. I don't think they should give up on Ffion and Gethin too soon because at least they are dealing with real issues that have the potential to cause drama. The rest of the storylines are manufactured nonesense. Which is fine but if you are going to do that type of storyline they need to commit to it so it becomes a fun guilty pleasure you want to watch. The writers don't seem to want to really commit to anything.

It always puzzled me that at the end of one episode Sion was sitting in Bethania, looking at the gun, in its hollowed-out book. He heard the sound of a door opening, picked up the gun, as if something was about to happen. Then it was not mentioned again.

Colin's not a favourite but I felt sorry for him. I usually like Anita, but that was a spiteful thing to do.

It must be so easy to write for Ffion lately. Get drunk, sober up with promises never to do it again, then gets drunk again.
Ffion's story isn't that long compared to stories of only a couple years ago. Remember the stories that lasted a year? Alcoholism isn't resolved in 3 weeks or so. I am tired of the short storylines that are completely predictable and resolved in a few episodes.
