That's nice, but there were soooooo many missing beats to that story and questions hinted and teased, but never delved into. I enjoyed the story, but was frustrated by the storytelling as well. And Iolo is pretty much MIA these days.

Did you see the list of other nominees? I had a feeling that storyline was going to win because it was the most realistic of those nominated. The rest weren't very good.

They've got 5 nights a week now so we'll have to see what happens. It looks like they are trying to return to more dramatic storylines of the past. I think they need to look at the type of storyline that gets awards and greater media attention. It hasn't been for the short comic storylines with the older characters. Perhaps they'll be more open to listening.

Dol is getting on my nerves as well.

Last week was very good. One thing its obvious Sheryl and Hwyel don't love each other. The death of the baby didn't change anything. How long will they be together.

I am happy about the Mind award. I would have liked Iolo to have been on more in the weeks prior. I forgot a lot of that storyline its been so long since its been on.

Thanks for the spoilers sderr,
Wow its been such an emotional week of episodes. Sheryl and Hywell`s relationship will not survive this with both blaming each other. Hywel secretly blaming Sheryl for his sons rare heart condition when it could have been his genes that was the cause. Then Sheryl blames Hywel for not letting Hywel hold her son for one last time. It`s not as if Hywel had any inkling of what would happen.
I can`t seen Sheryl and Hywels relationship surviving this. With some couples such a tragedy could bring a couple closer together. But with both Hywel and Sheryl being such selfish characters - neither one of them will be willing to keep their relationship going.
And its no wonder with Hywel preferring to be in the company of Gaynor rather than Sheryl these days. Both of them would be better off without each other. I just hope Hywel doesn`t start sniffing around Gaynor again...she can do so much better.

Could Angela be pregnant? She seems to be fainting a lot lately. I hope its nothing too serious if it turns out Angela isn`t pregnant.

That's what I think. I don't think there will be another sad story over Christmas. I could be wrong though

Yes, Hwyel and Sheryl will be better off without each other. People who don't love each other don't stick together just out of obligation. I don't think the problem is that they're too selfish I think the problem is that they never were in love with each other. More that they had a fantasy of the perfect family and there was no better around to make that happen.

Well I'm back after a while off line.

I have to say that the Hywel/Sheryl storyline has been one of the best acted I've seen for a while and to get a man like me crying is something else.

They clearly aren't going to survive as a couple, the dynamics have gone wrong since Meiylors death and I can see Hywel running back to Gaynor at this rate.

Looking forward to the 5 days back- it's annoying not having an episode to watch on a Thursday- being in Plymouth, I only get S4C on Sky!

You can watch it on BBC iPlayer, and it's Wednesdays there's currently no episode.
