I knocked PYC off for a few months as it was just getting too bleak for me. I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me?

* Where's Wil? Why wasn't he with Sheryl at Christmas?
* When did Ed and Sioned get together and is it all it appears to be?
* Are Eifion and Cadno living together at Penrhewl, even though they've separated?
* How did Dani and Garry become an item and when/why the split from Sher?
* Why are Eifion and Sion in particular such scruffbags nowadays?
* What happened to Moc in the end, and are Anita and Meic now a couple?

No. That was a one-off Christmas miracle (or some such). She thought she had killed Macs so, naturally, she would want to bring Bobi and the baby to spend Christmas with Eifion She has left (again) and this time left the boys at the farm. I predict baby Arthur will "go upstairs" and not me seen again until he is 16



Well... c'mon now... isn't it obvious? They had each accused one another of starting the fire that killed Brandon (some time near the end of last century). So when they finally find out that it was Gwenyth all along they naturally fall in love. Oh... and I left out the part where Kevin rapes Sheryl on the eve of her wedding, Garry deeps fries his hand for it; Sheryl hits him with an iron, thinks she's killed him and convinces Garry to help her hide the "body" in the boot of his car. It was a tricky time for relationships


Eifion thinks it makes him look macho. Sion thinks it makes him look distingished. They are both wrong.


I didn't actually watch this but he got Wil alone somehow. I think he was planning to skip town with Anita.. then with Sheryl... then just with Wil. Anyway... in the end, he escaped on his own. Meic and Anita are most definitley *not* a couple. They can't stand each other (for very many very good reasons!). But they are living together because... well.. this is Cym Deri and that's the sort of thing people do there, in'it?

Citadel to fill you in on Moc and Gethin a bit. So Sheryl had agreed to marry Garry after the rape. But she had doubts because of the hand frying incident and their past history. Moc used this to gain her trust and he was going to sneak out of the country with her without telling anyone. They got as far as the Cardiff airport hotel when Dani called to warn Sheryl and she ran back to save Wil before anything happened. He ran away to Thailand... and has never been caught.

Before he left Moc beat Gethin and I guess tortured him with a rope. So people finally believed him. Then it came out that he blackmailed Gwyneth, when Dani found the memory stick of her setting the fire in Gethin's possession. Now she can't forgive him. So the Moc thing was dropped for a while. It is extremely obvious Gethin really hasn't forgiven or forgotten about anything. So he is back to being a nasty pain. More on this to come I'm sure.

Only if it's in prison. Why has he not been caught and jailed yet? Not the greatest message to send out to victims of child abuse. PYC treat him like some kind of fantastic villain and it's in very poor taste.

He's in Thailand, which if you know anything about human rights in Thailand it is notorious as being sex tourism destination. They don't return sex offenders because they make money off them through prostitution. Its the same place Scott ran too. I have no doubt the choice of location in both cases not an accident. Frankly I don't know what the writers are doing here. Because you would assume that Moc continues to abuse children. They must want to bring him back sometime I assume to get justice. I know Gethin is a nasty piece of work, but nothing he has done in my opinion in anyway excuses Moc or the way the village treated Gethin.

Isn't Sheryl the mother of Wil and ex of Garry? I can't recall that lady's name but it definitely wasn't Sheryl.

My mistake it was Shirley not Sheryl. Sheryl is Wil's mother of course.

Garry is top bloke. Hardcase with a soft side to him. Colin is an irritating fool. His double act with Mark is worse than Simon and whatever the other bloke's name was on Going Live on Saturday morning.

Simon Parkin? He does Meridian Weather nowadays! Mark is an absolute creep. He's been in PYC 20 years but the character just doesn't fit in at all. Colin is uber-Welsh and PYC needs that. Garry doesn't have a soft side, he's just the resident scumbag ala Philth Mitchell etc!

Absolutely loathe Colin. I find it hard to like complete comedy characters normally. As for Gar, I think he has changed since being with Dani. Maybe having sex 24/7 wears him out a bit.

Some very nice women in Cwmderi. The one I really like is Gaynor - maybe the sexiest woman in any soap. I love the worried look on her face. Really hope Hywel has a relapse because the more worried she gets, the sexier she looks.

Disturbing though this post was, Mo, it's actually true! Gaynor is very attractive when worried!

Arwyn Davies who plays Mark is the son of the very famous Ryan Davies and Arwyn is a beautiful singer.

the christmas episode was well weird.
i would just love to see most of the characters on xmas day, even if their doing banal stuff especially garry & dani, mark & gemma, eileen, colin, ed & sioned, the whites !!

I thing Gary's change is realistic as he had counselling when he was with Sheryl. And unlike Sheryl, Dani picks him up on his rubbish and challenges him. When I started watching I instantly said they'd be good together. They have history and chemistry and she's good for him.

As for Colin, he does have serious moments like that bit with Lois in the Millennium Centre, that was sweet.
